NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Rep. Peter King is calling out presidential candidate Ted Cruz amid controversy over the senator's comments on "New York values."
On Saturday, King tweeted that Ted Cruz was lying when he said he supports New York's firefighters and police.
"Not true," the Republican said, adding that Cruz did not co-sponsor or vote in favor of the Zadroga 9/11 Health & Compensation Act. King went on to call Cruz "a fraud."

Not shocking. We are finding out quite quickly that Cruz is not at all who he represents. He is a slick politician who cares about Cruz and Cruz only. Of course he wouldn’t help 9/11 firefighters and police........they are New Yorkers. He wouldn’t support New yorkers if he had to.
I sure am getting sick of ALL the candidates and their constant infighting. We are going to screw around and end up with an G-D democrat as president. It seems to me this whole country is bound and determined to do itself in.

I think you believe that you are that self important for some reason. We are a group of people discussing issues that we believe. 99 percent may have other beliefs.
I think it was part of that crappy budget bill recently passed.

A few years ago, loudmouth liberal Democrat suckup Peter King fooled oodles of conservatives across the country by playing a heroic, uncompromising tough guy on TV who pledged to destroy the Washington establishment, deport all illegals, and wipe out every terrorist group on earth as long as you sent him money and voted for him.

Many of us have warned the Cruz people that you cannot just be ok with Cruz running on platitudes and some sort of golden mythology about his life.
When you do that, it doesn’t take much to topple that house of cards over.
He needed to be out in the fight so he could take some hits and get some practice in giving them.
Now it’s one blast after another, and it’s likely not going to quite now that the non-aggression treaty between Trump and Cruz is over. Cruz is now on his own. Trump on one side, the GOPe on another, and the Dems on the third.
