On this weekendâs broadcast of âFox News Sunday,â USA Today columnist Kirsten Powers explained why it was her view that former President Bill Clintonâs past being raised in this presidential campaign could be a problem for Hillary Clintonâs bid.
According to Powers, the Bill Cosby situation shows that attitudes across the country have changed about allegations of rape and that could be problematic for Hillary Clintonâs bid.
âI think that what was once referred to as Bill Clintonâs bimbo eruptions, which now sounds like something that people wouldnât say today, are going to become problems for Hillary during the campaign,â Powers said.

Just ask Obama — he will pick the one that goes to jail !!!
“These things must be handled delicately.” Lest she be seen to be too eratic by her liberal peers.
“How long ago was BenghaZi?”
Dude, it was like, so long ago.
Like every person who's not dead yet.
She’s a liberal, except during election years. Then she fakes being a Conservative. It’s called confusing the enemy. Make no mistake, we are her enemy.
Bill Cosby, Bill Clinton. I heard a reporter on CNN almost say the wrong one during a report.
"Dude, that was like 2 years ago" {now 3}.
See post #19. That states it well, IMO.
It’s always better to stand up to the bully... no more lunch money for the Clintons.
But Hillary is the candidate, not Bill, so whatever Bill might have done makes no difference in this election, and raising that as an issue will only help Hillary. /sarc

You’re making my point. The press has provided cover on Benghazi for several years now. 10 months of cover on Bill Clinton, who is still adored by many in this country, will be a piece of cake.
Given what is known about Bill Clinton, I don’t think anyone should want a Presidential couple that won’t be able to bring decorum and class to the position. The nation forgave Bill, as a man in power. I don’t think they will be so tolerant of this a second time.
She came out a while ago as accepting Christ and being a Christian, that’s the change, the Holy Spirit at work.
Kirsten was mugged a few years ago when her health plan was terminated due to Obamacare. She has been inching rightward ever since.
If she did not live in D.C. I suspect she’d be much farther along in this process. Can’t get invited to the really good cocktail parties and social events there unless you’re a Lib (or willing to play ball with them)
I watched this too. She’s a dunce. I have no idea how she schmoozed her way on to a show like that. She is always unprepared, provides views that she probably picked up from other writers.
Sunday her hair was matted down like an Iowan cow pie with pancaked mike up. I suspect she was late.
When they asked her for 2016 predictions she said:
1. The economy will be booming
2. Republicans will come to their senses and elect someone responsible and sensible instead of Trump
3. Washington NHL team will win the Stanley Cup.
This lady needs to have a holy roller revival in her head, and come out as a born again conservative. Her views on abortion are inline with ours, so why then vote for people like Hillary?
In short, this is a light waited thinker than never says anything that makes me think, “You know, I agree with that, or I never thought about that.” The only one worse is Juan Williams.
Clinton (the rapist) benefited from a Media that had a stranglehold put on it....Today, there are far too many different media outlets to cover his dirty deeds....He is an albatross around the neck of the Wicked Witch.
She had a religious conversion a few years ago (agnostic/atheist to Christian) and appears to still be working things out.
