He was supposed to win the GOP nomination easily and just six months ago, it appeared he would do just that. He had tens of millions of donor dollars at the ready, the approval of the GOP Establishment, and a successful stint as governor of one of the most important swing states in the country.
Nothing went as planned.

A D.C. Whispers source painted the Bush campaign with the following colors:
"He just doesn't have it and he's not a good enough politician to fake it. He's also suffering from eight years of Barack Obama faking it and voters getting wise. Most everyone sees the weakness, the phoniness, the sense of entitlement and that just won't stand up to voter sentiment this election cycle. People are pissed. Ironically, so is Jeb Bush. He's angry at everything and everyone right now. Despondent, depressed, and angry at the world. He is having a very difficult time grasping the reality of someone like Donald Trump at the top of the polls and seeing himself in single-digits. Jeb isn't his brother. Jeb is a cry-baby and that part of his character is really coming through the last few months as he's struggled to get anyone to pay attention to his version of things. People want tough and that's something Jeb Bush has never been."

Jeb’s posturing is a cry for help. He desperately wants out of this presidential race but can’t figure out how to do it without humiliation. His family needs to step in and get him out of it before he has a breakdown.
That homunculus hit the jackpot.
For Jeb, I suggest a Jack Daniels enema.
Mommy couldnt make it happen for little jebby
The boy is a bloomin’ idiot. You do NOT come out in the beginning and tell certain voters they are not needed. You will win regardless of whether or not they will vote for you. You do NOT antagonize these voters by telling them WHAT will be taught to their school age children; NOR by telling them your acts of love matter to you more than they do, their families, do. You do NOT attempt and succeed in killing off members of their families due to your spineless ideas about interfering. Jeb, there are losers out there BUT you must be just about the biggest seen this side of the Mississippi. It was never to be, boy, it was never to be. Accept it. Al Gore tried but never reached that far as understanding the concept. Show US that you have the longer reach. Accept it, understand why, and then proceed to cry if you must. After all, it is your party -it’s only the rest of us that no longer attend. Pinning the tail on the donkey grows tiresome after a time. Cut your cake, put on your hat and proceed to celebrate that you’ve found your place in the scheme of things. Insignificant is too big a word to describe you.
I remember when GW started his campaign and his family said they always believed Jeb would be the one who would run for President, not GW.
Besides the fact that Jeb just isn’t very likable I don’t think people want a Mexican dwarf for First Lady. Especially after the horrid one we’ve had for 7 years
"Pick a Bale of Cotton"(You might remember that this song was featured in the movie "The Jerk".)
Yep, he certainly fibbed and swept this under the rug
And this is why he's the biggest laughingstock in the country.
The man is completely incapable of looking himself in the mirror and taking the measure of his own strengths and weaknesses. He's convinced himself that he's 'up for the job', while everyone around him restrains themselves from laughing out loud at his silly, over-inflated sense of adequacy.
Like some sheltered prince, he's totally out of touch with the real world, and is out of his depth on the political stage. Because of his blue blood lineage, he thinks he deserves to be the President of this great country. The people of America think otherwise.
It's really sad that Jeb can't bring himself to come to terms with that, and end the humiliation. He's destroying what little respect and good will the American people still had for the Bush family.
I see you failed Ebonics 101. The phrase is:
Stay out da bushes!
I think Jeb's wife is a deal-breaker in much the same way that Theresa Heinz-Kerry was.
That woman was a disaster in the making, and didn't fit the public's image of an American First Lady in any way. Remember how fast they got her off the campaign trail when she started talking?
Has he had a stroke?
Spot on! I seem to recall that he said he did not need the base...
lol
lol
I think Trump will bringing him in...you watch...
“...Because of his blue blood lineage, he thinks he deserves to be the President of this great country...”
I tend to think his heart was never fully in it and he was pressured-hard, volunteered and pushed into the role by the RNC/Power-Brokers/puppeteers who thought (for whatever reason) that he was their best bet to maintain their status-quo. I think he would really rather be doing something else. But, he’s a trooper, so he’s going through the motions.
