And CNN is the host of the next debate. No surprise there. Plus they want to sway more votes away from Trump by having another Democrat moderated debate. Why do Republicans continue to allow the Liberals to moderate their debates?

Hugh Hewitt has already gone on record that for the short term he expects Christie to come out on top on the next debate. They will not let Rand Paul on the stage because at this point, Rand Paul helps bring Trumps numbers up because they agree on more things than not.

Why is Kasich on the stage but not Rand Paul? Only reason is because Kasichs number one goal is to take down Trump. And they cannot control what Rand Paul says.

“Just ask some Trump supporter. They always seem to know what Trump meant to say.”

Unlike Cruz supporters, who always seem to know the innermost secrets of Trump’ heart.

Love Cruz, just see him as the VP ...

"See him as the VP" ...? How likely is that? When is the last time ANY candidate ran with his closest primary runner-up as veep? What is this fixation, every four years, with pairing two "ideal" primary candidates as a party ticket? It is ALWAYS and ONLY an empty diversion.

Here's another great point Obama didn't start to get the big crowds until Spring or March of 2008 well into the primary season. Trump has been doing it for months.

Thanks! That's just as great a point as entropy12's.

We're definitely not in 2008 anymore. :)

“Speaking of clowns. Lots of people will turn out to watch a clown.”

Well, that begs the question: What have you accomplished in your life that puts Trump in the shade?

Trump should not. Cruz and Trump are the most winnable team in the election. Cruz brings the evangelicals and Trump brings the blue collar republicans.

But they aren't a team, and they aren't going to be a team. We only get to choose ONE. That's what primaries are about.

Ha! Cruz retweets Hillary. That’s like hitting the like button on one of Hillary’s facebook postings.

“I got to admit that I really do not put any stock in the numbers of people who attend rallies.”

With what is going on in this country right now, the MSM would go into a frenzy if Trump couldn’t draw a crowd. They would think it meant something, while they ignore the fact that the other candidates can’t.

Granted that only one will win. However, it’s best not to destroy your allies when you might need them. Best to simply defeat them.

Reagan never thought single payer health care was a good idea. He never would have thought Hillary was doing a good job. He would have been aghast at the Kelo decision. Reagan was a free trader. .... Trump wouldn't recognize Reagan's platform if it hit him in the face.

BUMP

Agree, this poll is no accident.

The purpose of the poll is to get Trump and Cruz against each other and for Christie to supposedly rise above it and be declared the winner.

And for Kasich to go after both Trump and Cruz, but mostly Cruz.

It is disgusting that Clinton and the liberals are covertly able to use the liberal media to influence a Republican debate. Podesta already said Cruz will be the nominee.

They act as if Hillary is to important and deserves to win that she gets to pick the nominee she thinks she will win against.

Again LOVE Cruz, just know that Trump will win over Clinton in the general. Want to see Cruz as the VP and still hoping they do not turn on each other next week in the debate. They are being set up by Hillary.
