DES MOINES REGISTER SHOCK POLL: CRUZ 29%, TRUMP 22%, RUBIO 13%, CARSON 11%
Great news for Cruz!! James Dobson endorsed Cruz today I heard as well. Conservatives are uniting behind Cruz’s campaign, paving the way to total victory!
People watch you?
If you notice, it’s usually Des Moines or Monmouth that comes out with these polls just prior to a Presidential debate, and then they tank thereafter. Cruz is the new Carson, but will wilt even quicker than Carson under scrutiny.
Carson at least came off as an unscripted candidate, even if he wasn’t very knowledgeable. Cruz comes off rehearsed, artificial, because he is.
Hillary endorses Cruz over Trump. That’s all we need to know about this primary.
Love Cruz, just see him as the VP and then eventual President.
Also, the GOPe are trying to fragment the Trump and Cruz votes in order to prop up Bush or Rubio.
This is all so obvious. Hope Trump calls the behind the scenes shenanigans And hope he and Cruz continue to support each other from afar until Trump wins the nomination and his VP running mate is Cruz.
lol! Are you sure you know what you're doing? Your theory doesn't exactly bode well for Cruz.
Ricky Ricardo.....LOL!
The Des Moines Register has a fantastic track record. Their final poll in 2014 had Joni Ernst winning by 7. She won by 8.
They want to create a fight between Trump and Cruz at the next debate.
Hoping Trump and Cruz don’t fall for it.
How about some depth and passion and substance on those things from out of his mouth? How about some history of backing up those things, instead of just throwing a few slogans out there that sound like he's pandering?
“If you notice, it’s usually Des Moines or Monmouth that comes out with these polls just prior to a Presidential debate...”
An excellant point.
She might win over Cruz unfortunately. She will NOT win over Trump.
I have to agree. I think Cruz would have a narrow Electoral window whereby he can't lose any battleground states, whereas Trump would put more states in play.
Forcing Hillary to defend/attack 80%+ of the country instead of just the battleground states would put a lot of physical and mental strain on her. Looking old and feeble would be her downfall in the general election.
Iowa traditionally goes to a religious conservative.
Ted Cruz is that in spades. There is no besmirching him on his evangelicalism.
His weaknesses are The Corker Bill, The TPA, and the H1B visa.
Hillary will go after his Canadian birth, and he is fully qualified to be president, but his enemies will go after that. She went after Obama’s birth, so you know she’ll go after Cruz on this.
Trump should not. Cruz and Trump are the most winnable team in the election. Cruz brings the evangelicals and Trump brings the blue collar republicans.
“Thatâs true. Still itâs good itâs Cruz up and not Rubio...yet.”
This is my fear...
Cruz has not kissed Big Corn’s ring, and big Corn are going to train all their guns on Cruz and promote puppet-boy Rubio.
One of the recent speach ( Iowa yesterday IIRC) a young woman explained to all how to fill out the caucus cards and where and when a training session would be held for all newbies He and his staff are working on it! Lots of young people getting involved. Lots of enthusiasm !!
There’s always different ways to look at things...
We're electing the President, not the next candidate for Pope. All that said, Ted Cruz and his father are creepy weirdo Dominionists. They aren't exactly a model for Christianity.
Dominionists and their ilk are the scum of the Earth. They're as materialistic as any atheist, but even worse, because they claim to be Christians and distort the Gospel as a result.
Agreed!!
Des Moines Register Poll?
No bias or political corruption there....lol
You were the one who put forth the theory that "Trump didnât give them enough Jesus."
