With the turnout for Trump in Iowa last night being the highest in the state’s history, and the fact that they are recruiting all this new blood aggressively at each event, do you think you may need to adjust the numbers upward in your point number 2 regarding Trump?

I wasn’t sure if the “se” was silent or not. French is so damn confusing. Not straightforward like German.

RCP does not include this poll in their averages! Why?
Why do they think this poll is not reliable????

Perhaps none of them will vote for either if they can see what a hater you are.

That was the point I think. The sarcasm seemed clear.
Personally I am just happy those who love America are doing so well.

Either way it’s clear that TEMPORARILY Cruz has picked up almost every disaffected Carson supporter. On the one hand that confirms my view that Carson’s support was almost entirely “church lady” from the get go, but refutes my view that Cruz and Trump would split these evenly.
Actually the way Trump made fun of Carson’s childhood stories and his “religious experience”, no wonder he got almost none of Carson’s support.
And on top of that using the term “child molester” when talking about Carson (I know he didn’t call him one)
Why would any Carson supporter (most of whom were religious or believed Carson was/is a good man) EVER vote for Trump now!!

I fully agree. I support Trump, but the “dominion” talk doesn’t bother me in the least. And if you don’t believe that intercessory prayer can change these areas of society, what kind of Christian are you? So, I see where the pastors are coming from.

Roughly only 5% of Iowans bother to show up for Caucus. It has not been a good indicator of who will win nomination.
For example HUckabee won in 2008 and Santorum won in 2012, the 2 election cycles with no incumbents running.

Trump last night had the biggest townhall rally in Iowa ever. In my youth I went to several rallies for George McGovern with over 150,000 enthusiastic, screaming, shouting, roaring supporters in attendance.
If you are old enough to remember, do you recall how that all worked out for him?
Maybe not, so here it is: McGovern carried one state plus the District of Columbia.
Rally size and enthusiasm are the very worst, most unreliable predictors of success in the political world.
