Donald Trump has been dethroned at least in Iowa. A new Quinnipiac University poll out Thursday shows that Ben Carson now leads the GOP presidential field in the Hawkeye State by an 8 point margin, winning the support of 28 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers to Trump's 20 percent. That's a big reversal and a big drop for Trump, who just last month led Carson in the state 27 percent to 21 percent, Politico reports.

Hmmm, I thought you had to be a braggart, jerk to get ahead, like Trump.

LOL, and yet some liberals here on the forum revel in it.
Nobody can name one thing Carson has done to reverse rolls with Trump in Iowa.
This is a hoot to watch.
Carson will be back under 10% in two weeks, perhaps less.

Trump will start saying Iowa doesn’t matter. He’ll say Iowans are losers. He’ll do the usual tantrum and childish act we’re all used to with this narcissistic TV celebrity.

BS. Carson is a little too meek to be Commander in Chief.

And only in one poll. RCP still has Trump up overall.

Bey you that Rove and the Chamber of Illegal Immigrants are giving money to Carson, as they know he can’t win anything.

I don’t think Carson has what it takes to promote and govern with a true Conservative agenda. I doubt it would not take long before the donor class has Carson doing their wishes over the voters wishes like we have now.

The must have only polled the pinche cabrons!

I think this is funny. The establishment Republicans post this here, thinking they are going to "get our goat." But I'm loving it. Whether it's Trump or Carson who's on top, I don't care. The bottom line is that the both of them are number 1 and 2 and way ahead of the establishment GOP pack.
The GOP establishment are getting rejected and whether it is Trump or Carson who's on top, it's a win-win for all of us who have had enough of career politicians.

An Trump is too mercurial, too crass, too vulgar, too much the dilettante, and way too inexperienced with government to lead a great nation. He should stick to reality TV.

Iowa caucus has a history of picking winners who almost never become the nominee. Trump should not throw in the towel based on ONE Iowa poll. He is still ahead over Carson in RCP averages in spite of this one Quinnipiac poll.
Iowa is easy to explain. Less than 5% of Iowan’s are caucus goers. Anybody can win Iowa caucus.
