Those two are easy to dismiss. Others who should withdraw will likely take more convincing. On the basis of today’s polling, Lindsay Graham is facing ultra-long odds. (A prominent London bookmaker places his chance of winning the nomination at 66 to 1, only slightly worse than John McCain, who isn’t running). A recent survey of GOP primary voters in his home state of South Carolina showed that 78 percent think Graham should drop out of the race – and that’s his power base.

...– and that’s his power base.

That must be an urban legend. Columbia SC derives its power from the District of Columbia, not by the people's support.

Vote manipulation is what it is. Trickery and tomfoolery.

Graham, Gilmore, Huckabee, Santorum, Jindal, Paul and Pataki definitely out.

String Rubio along to divide Jebushs Florida primary votes.

Paul could be there for awhile ... his base is the libertarian crowd, small but fanatical, and he’s the only place where they can park their vote.

I could see Paul there till the end.

Graham will drop out when Jeb Bush tells him to drop out. Same goes for some of the other candidates, too.

Is it possible Graham has shot himself in the foot with his doomed run?
Perchance the voters of SC have finally gotten around to looking at his record?

Hopefully his support will wither so badly he will not survive his next reelection bid.

Some understand they won’t be the nominee... will they then, as a matter of public service, go out kamikaze-style?

"78 percent think Graham should drop out of the race"

If Linda ever listened to the voters, he wouldn't be in this sad state.

I doubt it’s ever been anywhere even close to THAT. More like 0.000000000003%.

Not any more than McConnell has foot-shot himself by his actions. Senator Graham is the machine candidate and the machine is ensconced in Columbia SC.

Again, Graham is not the Senator desired by South Carolina's electorate. He's there (again) due to election vote manipulation (very adroit team of his), trickery, and the full support of the Columbia Uniparty.

Paul’s Libertarian vote might be with Sanders.

I’d lay $6600 against $100 that Linda won’t be prez.
