Marist/NBC: Trump +7 in Iowa, Trump +16 in NH
NBC News ^

Posted on 09/06/2015 11:55:43 AM PDT by springwater13

Meanwhile, in the Republican presidential race, Donald Trump now holds a seven-point lead in Iowa and a 16-point one in New Hampshire.

In the Hawkeye State, Trump gets the support from 29 percent of potential GOP caucus-goers, while Ben Carson receives 22 percent. There's a steep drop off after that: Jeb Bush gets 6 percent; Carly Fiorina, Rand Paul and Scott Walker get 5 percent; and Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Bobby Jindal are at 4 percent.

In July, Walker was ahead of the Iowa Republican field at 19 percent, Trump was second at 17 percent and Bush was third at 12 percent.

In the Granite State, Trump is at 28 percent — followed by John Kasich at 12 percent, Carson at 11 percent, Bush at 8 percent and Fiorina at 6 percent; Walker is down to 4 percent.

Back in July, the top three in New Hampshire were Trump (21 percent), Bush (14 percent) and Walker (12 percent). View the full Iowa poll here.

Yes, we’re all pleased that you lesser states get to decide the primary. I’d disenfranchise your sorry butts if I were King.
Here, here! or is it hear, here?

If you had actually read his explanation, you would have seen why Cruz voted the way he did. Instead way to many Trump supporters simply take no time to actually inform themselves. Its like trying to have a political argument with a bunch of two year olds.

It’s embarrassing that a guy that doesn’t understand the lawlessness of the courts or thinks his pro-abortion sister would make a “Phenomenal” SCOTUS justice polls so high. And most of his supporters know he’s weak on so many issues that all they do is continually point to a scoreboard because they can’t defend any of his stances.

Even Herman Cain was saying the other day you can't just refuse to follow the laws, unless you want to tell the liberals that it's okay to flout immigration law based on "moral" reasons once Trump takes the Presidency, or that it's okay to infringe on gun rights, other things, because owning guns is "immoral". The contradiction is palpable, and Trump's is the only logical position to take if you're a law and order conservative on the border. As for his sister-- she's elderly and already long retired. She was even put into place in the first place by Reagan. What do you want him to do, badmouth his sister when asked a question?

As for the lie that all we can do is point to his polls. BS! We can point to your candidate's palpable weakness on illegal immigration and point out that Trump is the only one with the correct position on illegals and trade. All the other candidates might be very religious or totally perfect on social issues, but they're wrong on that one issue that will make all other issues irrelevant once illegals are given legal status.

Ok, just remember that when Congress tries to tackle anything regarding deportation of illegals and birthright citzenship

And yet Trump is one of the only candidates who actually believes the Supreme Court and the government is wrong in their interpretation of the 14th amendment. Ted Cruz admitted on Megyn Kelly he thinks the constitution DOES give birthright citizenship. Are you going to argue that Ted Cruz is going to yield to the Supreme Court if they rule against Trump? Well, yes, you kind of have to conclude that, because that's his postion.

....the argument we were making at the time of the TPA vote.....it gave obumer fast-track authority on TPP. The text of which was so classified, not even members of Congress were allowed to read it.....

Donald Trump says US trade deals are ruining our nation...says its NOT stupidity....Trump says pols have been bribed. Trump doesn't know how right he really is. Read on.

Obama calls the TPP deal "central" to his second-term legacy, as well as to his "foreign policy" and "economic" agendas.

NOW ISN'T THIS INTERESTING? few, if any, of the RCEP and TPP countries contributed to the buck-raking Clinton Foundation.

Looks like the Clintons and Obama divvied up the globe so that each have their own countries in order to collect big buck get-rich-quick foundation donations, honorarium, cosultancies, and int'l insider business deals.

======================================

THE FACTS ARE THESE Obama's trade deal giveaway is a huge scam...best examined against the backdrop of Obama's two tax-exempt foundations (two-that we know of).

Obama's priming the pump for donations to his two Foundations. All of it--- TPA and TPP--Obama's immigration suck-ups---his non-action WRT ISIS, IRAN--- are best understood against the backdrop of Obama's future plans as an ex- president----more specifically, his two get-rich-quick Foundations (two foundations that we know of).

The aforementioned entities control billions of dollars---and Obama is lying- in-wait for his share.

===================================================

WIKI REFERENCE: Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is a proposed free trade agreement (FTA) between the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and the six states with which ASEAN has existing FTAs (Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand). RCEP negotiations were formally launched in November 2012 at the ASEAN Summit in Cambodia.

More like two year olds interrupting a political discussion.

Very interesting, and it seems perfectly logical.

You saw explanations, I saw apologies.

That's what I was thinking. And the adults are winning.

“TPA and TPP are not the same thing.”

That is correct. However, Obama salivated over TPA and he is still salivating over TPP. McConnell stated that TPA was a massive transfer of power to Obama. Still, Cruz voted for it (the first time). Made it possible.

and their votes count as much as yours.
Indeed, and this is why I don't think it really matters anymore who is elected here. We've passed the tipping point and now have a plurality of uninformed morons casting ballots. I became convinced of this after seeing Obama get re-elected after the worst first-term performance of any president in modern history.

And in Alabama Trump gets almost 40% of the vote and 30% of democrats say they’ll vote for him. Today John Fund on Fox said Trump is not a serious candidate and said his high poll numbers are because people are not tuned into politics yet. He called it “summer silliness”.

I get a kick out of you and others who proclaim Trump is not a conservative, or that he is a false conservative. So why are you and these other people failed miserably to accomplish anything conservative since Reagan left? What’s the matter, no one likes you or your ideas?

What exactly have the “true conservatives” in congress accomplished?

Obamacare scrapped?
Illegals deported?
Wall built?
Abortion outlawed?
National debt reduced?

If Trump can deliver 3 or more of above, he is more than enough conservative for me and most rational people.

People have seen what career politicians have accomplished. Voters are frustrated, and angry and feel betrayed. Carson is the consummate outsider who had a brilliant career in medicine. Like he says, politics is no brain surgery!

Voters are sick and tired of trying the same thing, and expecting better results. Enough is enough. Vote out all the entrenched career politicians. The framers never wanted life long career politicians. Why there are not term limits for all politicians? Presidents have them, governors have them.

It looks like a lot of Bush supporters have switched and are now supporting Trump!

I know a lot of folks who generally lean Left but who are liking what Trump is doing and saying. In the end, Truth w/o apology seems to appeal even to the "lost sheep" after association with so much slime.

Go CRUZ!!! Keep it up Trump!!

nobody with Trump knee pads needs to start picking little fights about a single vote here or there....not with Donalds massive history of liberal leanings and his neophyte conservatism still shaky.
