Earlier tonight Donald Trump made this comment about Megyn Kelly on CNN’s show with Don Lemon:
“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her… wherever.”
Now apparently I’m in the minority as I don’t think it’s solid that he meant her period. But everyone else apparently does. And tonight Carly Fiorina took to Twitter to call Trump out for it:
Even Erick Erickson agrees, saying he has disinvited Trump to the Red State Gathering because of it:
As much as I do personally like Donald Trump, his comment about Megyn Kelly on CNN is a bridge too far for me.
In a CNN interview, Mr. Trump said of Megyn Kelly, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever.”
It was not the “blood coming out of her eyes” part that was the problem.
I think there is no way to otherwise interpret Mr. Trump’s comment. In an attempted clarification, Mr. Trump’s team tells me he meant “whatever”, not “whenever.”

His comment was inappropriate. It is unfortunate to have to disinvite him. But I just don’t want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal. It just was wrong.
I have invited Megyn Kelly to attend in Donald Trump’s place tomorrow night.
Twitter is abuzz with this but the Donald has yet to tweet about it. I am sure he will soon and we will let you know when he does.

Her while life has pretty much been unceremonious. One of here best resume enhances was being an economic adviser to McCain.

If this brings him down we are screwed unless a real conservative who is electable rises. The problem with Trump is he has exposed the entire GOPe more than ever and he makes the others for the most part just look pathetic.
She did a good job with HP actually. Sure their stocks crashed (as did the overwhelming majority of the tech sector of that time) but their market share increased as did their IP.
Trump also said that blood was coming out of Wallace’s eyes.
They actually are suggesting that Trump meant that Kelly was on her period..how the heck did that happen. I heard his statement and thought nothing of the sort..WOW these people are nuts, they went from blood coming out of her eyes to “She’s on her period” seriously where do they get these crazy thoughts
