TRENTON The mayor of West New York, Felix Roque, was indicted Tuesday for accepting approximately $250,000 in bribes in return for referring patients to a medical imaging company whose owner has admitted running a massive kickback scheme, state authorities said.
From 2007 to 2012, Roque, 59, a Democrat who runs the Pain Relief Center in the town, agreed to refer patients needing MRI and CT scans to the centers in exchange for cash and campaign contributions, the state Attorney General's Office said.

Anyone keeping score on Dems vs Repubs on scandals? Must be at least 10 to 1 Dems.
Might be worth mentioning that West New York is in Northern New Jersey, located just across the Hudson River from New York City.
If all the corruption was revealed, it would be more like 1,000 to 1 in the Dems favor (unless you included the equally corrupt RINO establishment).
If he had the payments made to his “family foundation,” it’s tough to see how he could be found guilty, given what the Clintons have gotten away with.
FELIX ROGUE is an interesting Democrat:
FBI: New Jersey Mayor Felix Roque hacked website

A New Jersey mayor and his son were arrested Thursday by the FBI for allegedly hacking into an email account and website tied to a recall effort and then intimidating those associated with the site.
Felix Roque, 55, the Democratic mayor of West New York, N.J., and his son Joseph, 22, allegedly accessed and cancelled the domain registration for Recallroque.com, a website that was critical of the mayor and associated with a movement to recall him in early February.
Joseph Roque learned how to hack email accounts and GoDaddy.com, a domain registration company, by searching the Internet, according to a criminal complaint unsealed after the arrests.

After RecallRoque.com was taken down, the criminal complaint says, Roque placed a telephone call to the proprietor of the website Victim 1, a government official in Hudson County, N.J. to say that the page had been taken down by high government officials and that everyone would pay for getting involved against Mayor Roque.
Roque also allegedly tried to intimidate those involved with the website, telling Victim 1 that he had a friend on the CIA: A friend of mine. he works in the I cant tell you three letters CIA. You know. Thats how I get information. So what Im doing is not very kosher.
The announcement of the arrests was made by U.S. Attorney for the district of New Jersey, Paul J. Fishman.

I’m shocked.
John Boehner bought healthcare stock (or were given him) in Dec 2009 and has made millions. He is blocking the removal of obamacare. He should be arrested just like this mayor.
“Anyone keeping score on Dems vs Repubs on scandals? Must be at least 10 to 1 Dems.”
Well, this is New Jersey, the nation’s toilet bowl of corruption. When I saw this guy’s picture, I thought his first name should be something like Carmine!
Also, Christie should be more aware of with whom he gets his picture taken.

McGreevey Had Gay Truckstop Sex While Maintaining Heterosexual Cover

Former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey reveals his life of seedy debauchery before press revelations of an affair with a male aide forced him into coming out of the closet.
Jim McGreevey shockingly admits that before he became governor of New Jersey, hed have anonymous gay sex at Garden State highway rest stops. All I knew was that my behavior was getting crazier and crazier, McGreevey says of his torrid truck-stop trysts in an upcoming book that details his tortured life of lies and sexual repression:
With each new encounter, I was getting nearer and nearer to being caught which surely would have generated headlines, especially after I became executive director of the state parole board in the mid-1980s. The closet starves a man, and when he gets a chance he gorges till it sickens him, he writes in his book, titled The Confession.

BIPARTISAN EDUCATION Gov. Chris Christie (left) expressed his belief in bipartisanship in order to expedite the process of providing aid to New Jerseys most needy school districts. Right: West New York Mayor Felix Roque.
That whole strip is unrecognizable as US soil; West New York is so heavily Hispanic, and further up along the river is so Asian. In fact, the county to the north (Bergen) now prints their ballots in three languages: English, Spanish, and Korean...
I grew up in Bergen County. Now, I don’t know why anyone stays there.
christie prosecuted about 107 politicians while US Attorney, about 100 were democrats, as are most corrupt politicians.
It is a very expensive county, but if you have one of the few remaining decent jobs the western and northern parts (where there are still Americans) are nice. They also kept their Blue Laws (closing retailers on Sundays), which is a nice touch dating back to the Judeo-Christian roots of our country.
I don't know about the Judeo part. I heard part of the reason they keep the Sunday blue laws is to discourage Jewish communities and businesses that otherwise surround Bergen county. Orthodox Jews can work and shop on Sunday but not Saturday, their worship day. The blue laws mean if they live there they can't do much all weekend.
Many of the “Judeos” in Paramus support the Blue Laws because the traffic generated by the malls is a nightmare. I don’t think Orthodox are a majority of the Jewish population in Bergen County.
Blue laws spit in the face of freedom.
