Adam Stinnett looks up to his older stepbrother a soldier in the U.S. Army. So when it came time to get a haircut, the seven-year-old told his mother he wanted a basic military-style cut. And thats exactly what he got high and tight just like his stepbrother.
Adam got his haircut on March 8. On March 9, his mother got a letter from the principal of Bobby Ray Memorial Elementary School in McMinnville, Tennessee.
It seems they were not all that thrilled with the second graders new hairdo. The principal told Amy Stinnett that her sons haircut was distracting and needed to be fixed.

I rather suspected that...
The student handbook states “no mohawks”, which is different from a military high and tight.
What, another stupid woman making stupid decisions in America’s public schools? IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
Or that matted stuff that looks like cat turds.
I am sure she was flustered but the mom should have demanded to see the rule in an official handbook of rules and responsibilities.
Monti?
I'll bet you she's butt ugly.
McMinnville is fairly close to Nashville and this topic was on the local talk radio at lunch. Another mom who has children at the same school says the boy was targeted unfairly because another boy also has a high and tight and was allowed to keep it.
“The principal told Amy Stinnett that her sons haircut was distracting and needed to be fixed.”
After looking at the principal’s picture it appears that she has a helmet head, needs a nose job and probably should lose some weight. She is a walking distraction!
Maybe not so much in McMinnville, TN.

A little irony here.
HM2 Ray was a corpsman who was killed in action in 1969. He had requested duty with the FMF and was sent to Vietnam in 1968. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for treating Marines under fire and ultimately throwing himself on top of a wounded Marine as a grenade exploded nearby.
HM2 Ray probably wore his hair high and tight.
Principal is lucky this isn’t a black kid with an afro.
Mr. Ray? Did he not have an earned rank? She could not bring herself to give him the honor of giving him his earned military rank and demoted him to a mere civilian. She's a typical Liberal puke who cannot say he was in the military when he died. Heaven forbid that she should also mention that his Medal of Honor citation should also state that he was forced into a situation where he had to fight, shoot, and kill an enemy soldier, even though he was a medic!
It is HM2 David Robert (Bobby) Ray. Hospital Corpsman Ray. . . or Corpsman Ray.
Say what?

Dreadlocks are OK, High and tight, not so.
Here's the link:
I’d just say that it was a mullet without the rear end............
I would have refused to “fix” my son’s hair and threatened a big lawsuit and plenty of media coverage of the situation.
When my Granson got a High-N-Tight at age 3 to match his ARMY Uncle’s, the only perosn to make any coments was his Mother.
