Thinking about our neighbors to the north today. I go to Ottawa every 2nd winter to skate the Rideau Canal (I alternate with Winnipeg’s Red River), so I know this area well. I’ve had many quick lunches in the Rideau Centre food court...
It’s both actually...sad that a young man was murdered and his companion was unable to do anything about it as they were both unarmed...I get that it’s ceremonial...but we have got to get beyond this PC idiocy.
If a servicemember is on “post”, then arm them...they’ve been trained and prepared to go into battle...there is no reason not to other than PC.
