I have to say, he has a point. Out of the 2.5 billion who self-identify as Christians, a large number can’t be serious about their faith, or the world would look much different than it does. No, many of those people are “Christians” because their parents and grandparents were “Christians”, and they probably put less thought into that choice than they do what brand of car they drive or what kind of music they listen to.
Religion is man’s attempt to reach God. Christianity is God’s attempt to reach man. Islam is a religion.
Probably half of the “mainline” Protestant ministers in the US agree with him.

All through its framed in almost Jihadist terms, there is some truth. I’d say a very sizable minority of Christians on earth (maybe 30-40%) do not live the faith at all. Its a cultural identity, and those are the people leaving the church in record numbers.

Yet when Christmas or Easter comes around, or there is a “life” event like a wedding or a furneral, even the least observing show up to church. Go figure.

and Islam is not a religion ; it is a cult , a cult of death , that ,loves , promotes and encourages death . A cult that commits murder and advocates , or turns a blind eye to murder . The murder of defenseless innocents , as well as all non-believers . It is an invasive cult , which insinuates itself in non-native environs and seeks to take over by unrestricted population growth within those invaded societies which it then seeks to subvert to it’s own agendas as it majority seeking population explodes . It is a non-adaptive utterly intolerant cult , which appears to show tolerance only when , in it’s early stages , it’s population of cult adherents is too low to come out of the closet with it’s real intentions . Once majority-like numbers are reached , it’s character and approach within any given society changes and becomes much more aggressive and super intolerant , very quickly .
These are among the reasons why this cult , this perversion of anything that has ever been called ‘religion’ should be banned from any civilized country . It’s practices and it’s so-called ‘places of worship’ should be dismantled and no provision given to its practices what-so-ever . Insistence by those cultists unwilling to meet the demands of this enlightened thinking , on the behalf of societies finally trying to throw off this invasive parasite at last , should be dealt with by the permanent deportation , back the country of ancestral origin of the same . Conversions and inter-marriage should be banned . There should be no exceptions . Sounds draconian ? Research the laws , rules and conditions for any & all attempting to visit , much less reside in or around Mecca in Saudi Arabia . Nothing shocking in what I suggest ; it is already completely codified and practiced within Islam .

For women It’s “show off my new dress (or outfit) day” (or chillun’s outfits). For kids, it’s another free candy day
Islam: a phony religion based upon a false prophet and a phony book. Lose, lose, lose, and the entire world has been losing since the seventh century.
Even if we have people claiming to be Christian who don’t practice Christianity, they still have their values and thinking shaped by Christian culture. Islam also produces culture. Just look at Islamic nations, at the treatment of women, the treatment of non Muslims, at the strife between different sects of Muslims, at the hatred of everything and everyone not Muslim, at the divisions of classes, the poverty, the elitism, the radicalism, terrorism, and the brainwashing. There isn’t a single nation in the world that is better off because of Islam. Muslims are suffocated with culture.
