Even if we have people claiming to be Christian who don’t practice Christianity, they still have their values and thinking shaped by Christian culture. Islam also produces culture. Just look at Islamic nations, at the treatment of women, the treatment of non Muslims, at the strife between different sects of Muslims, at the hatred of everything and everyone not Muslim, at the divisions of classes, the poverty, the elitism, the radicalism, terrorism, and the brainwashing. There isn’t a single nation in the world that is better off because of Islam. Muslims are suffocated with culture.

The 911 bombers were regulars at strip clubs. The Tsarvaev brothers were apparently into drugs and drug dealing. Iranian commandos fighting ISIS are saying ISIS fighters are all hopped up on drugs. There was even an edict handed down by an imam recently that said homosexuality was OK if you were away from home on jihad.

Mostly agree with you. Additionally, Islam combines the bedouin arab pre-islamic culture with a set of very prescriptive & rigid beliefs, teachings & actions by its prophet. Compared to Christianity, islam is a very inflexible. It has specific instructions for everything. Even how to enter & exit a toilet. Mohammad did so to regulate & control bedouin arabs’ behaviour & even thoughts. It allows almost no room for thinking out of the box. I think that’s the reason muslims believe the Koran to be immutable, so that it’s strictly followed without any questions. The other huge difference is actually between Christ & Mohammad. How they lived, their actions, their words and teachings.
