No word on who she voted for, but there is one party that is committed to fighting for the rights of the undead to vote while denouncing any Voter ID measure as racist.
Evelyn E. Burwells family was surprised to learn she voted in the 2012 general and primary elections. They knew she was an avid voter, but shes been dead since 1997.
Burwell is one of about 6,100 deceased people still registered to vote in Nassau County, a Newsday computer analysis shows. The former Wantagh resident, who died at age 74, is also among roughly 270 people that records show voted in Nassau County after dying, a group that includes a man who voted 14 times since his death.
John Burwell, Evelyn Burwells son, said he will ensure his mother is removed from the rolls. Burwell, 66, of Levittown, said someone should be held accountable for the condition of the voter rolls.
Newsday is insisting that its all bunch of accidents and coincidences, but to believe that you have to also believe that another Evelyn Burwell suddenly showed up in the area

I wonder what party?.....................
Election fraud does not occur. That's why we don't need voter ID.
The plural of anecdote is “data”. The plural of “data” is “blather”. Nothing to see here, it never happened.
The Amish
No way to tell. But don't violate nonliving voting rights by asking for picture ID! Show respect for the dead!
When all the living leave NY they’ll still have plenty of voters
I don’t want to be raised from the dead as a Democrat.
Levittown the new Chicago
Each ballot should be initialed by a poll worker. Comparison of the initials should indicate who took legal responsibility for verifying the ballot.
But "no word" is the same as "word" in a case like this. If there's malfeasance reported, but no party affiliation, then it's the same as saying it was a Democrat. Remember when that Dem Representative was suspected in the staffer's disappearance? (Don't remember whether he did it or not) They always captioned him "Whazisname (Rep)" for "Representative". Yeah.....right......
“I wonder what party?”
The Demaggot Party!
It would be terribly Judgmental to criticize such a loyal, determined participant in our great American representational system of governance. Better to give her an award.
I would not doubt nationally that the number of fraudulent votes is in the 7 figures or more
Impossible. That would be election fraud and we all know that’s just a racist right wing delusion.
What is amazing is not that her name is still on the rolls, BUT THAT SHE IS STILL VOTING!
Someone is voting in her name, for her.
This is NY, so the odds are great that this is Dem vote fraud.
What do you do when it is the poll worker who actually cast the ballot? You think that don’t happen? It’s the Democrat way, particularly in Democrat enemy territory.
‘New Yorker Votes 14 Times After Death’
And that was in just ONE ELECTION!
Evelyn E. Burwells family was surprised to learn she voted in the 2012 general and primary elections.
Would leftists be surprised?
John Burwell, Evelyn Burwells son, said he will ensure his mother is removed from the rolls.
Doesn't look like something a demoncrat would do, but maybe it was said with a wink.
If the dead woman voted Republican, it is inconsequential and at best a victimless crime as the Republican candidate did not win any of the presidential elections in question.
However, if the dead woman voted Democrat, it is a crime as such voter fraud prevented Republican candidates from winning the state.
Gotta love the picture with the article.
