The truth can be dangerous. Some extremists will go to great lengths to keep the truth from coming out, even if that means threatening harm to United States Congressman Trey Gowdy.
Remember, it is Trey Gowdy who will be leading the House Select Committee into what really happened in Benghazi. Liberals fear that Gowdy, a highly successful prosecutor, will uncover the truth.
That is exactly why threats of harm have been made against Congressman Gowdy. Liberals want the truth to remain hidden so they can protect Obama and Hillary Clinton from facing the consequences of their actions.
POLITICO reports:
The U.S. Capitol Police are investigating threatening emails against Rep. Trey Gowdy, the South Carolina Republican recently tapped to lead a special panel probing the Benghazi terrorist attacks.
The investigation comes after POLITICO reporters and journalists at other outlets received two emails on Tuesday warning that Gowdy would be harmed because of his role in investigating the 2012 attacks.
The Capitol Police would not comment on the scope of the investigation but Officer Shennell Antrobus confirmed that there is “an active, open investigation.”
This is not the first time Gowdy has been threatened. As Politico also reported, “In 2012, a woman approached Gowdy with a gun while he was sitting in his car in Spartanburg, S.C.”

We hope the Capitol Police get to the bottom of these threats. This is a serious matter, both because Gowdy was threatened and because it was likely an attempt to dissuade him from getting to the truth.

Their gravy train is being threatened. We make the mistake of thinking that Democrats are just overly-agitated and boisterous fans of liberalism. That’s not it. The purpose of the Democrat Party is to elect thieves to office so that they have access to public treasuries in order to loot them. Think about it. If somebody says my favorite tv show is no good, so what? If someone says they are going to blow up my business, I’m going to do something about it.

I am really hoping that somehow, someway, we will get our hands on proof that they were planning to trade the kidnapped Ambassador for the Blind Sheikh. That they didn’t call in the military because it might have interfered with the kidnapping. That the “video” story was a weak, panic-based, knee jerk reaction while scrambling to explain their inaction. And, most of all, I hope it all has the fingerprints of the One all over it.
Why the RINOs can’t see this is beyond me. But then, they are RINOs who will probably do a Jumping Jeffords and switch to the Rat Party once they see that they have ridden the GOP elephant as far as they can.
This is just the beginning of the endless harassment similar to that Sarah Palin suffered at the hands of these Nazis and their agitation/propaganda `Ministry of Love’.

Yesterday or the day before I asked how long it would take before the left starting trashing Gowdy. It didn’t take long.
I dont like the name RINOS..to me it sounds too cute..I prefer to call Republicans who have that liberal thinking be called Progressives, because that is what they are, leftists with an R next to their name..either they truly believe that giving amnesty to illegals will help them get votes or they just want to help out the Rat party, not sure what their thinking is
