President Obama's approval rating remains ominously weak among the constituencies that could tip the battle for control of the Senate in November, the latest Allstate/National Journal Heartland Monitor Poll has found.
In the latest poll, Obama also faces a formidable intensity gap that could foreshadow turnout challenges for Democrats: The share of adults who strongly disapprove of his performance (39 percent) is nearly double that of those who strongly approve (21 percent).

I saw on FNC this morning Larry Sabato blasting the phony poll put out by the NYT showing AR Sen. David Pryor with a ten point lead over Cong. Tom Cotton.
I don’t understand why Obama’s polls are even relevant anymore. He’s not running for anything.
Too bad they’ll just be replaced by RINOs.
They are a relevant to incumbent Democrat politicians who voted for BHO’s policies and now have to answer for it.
The stupid party is highly capable of blowing this.
Does this poll factor in Democrat voter fraud?
Don’t worry, Dims, amnesty pushing RINOs are hard at work making plans that will infuriate the Republican base and minimize the potential for the huge Dim losses that should otherwise come about.

The biggest problem is that republicans won’t capitalize when its advantageous.
We want the keystone pipeline built but don’t bother to mention the fact that oil trains are rolling through heavily populated residential areas of Detroit. The democrats claim to care about the poor and minorities yet don’t care about potential disasters of their own making.
The democrats are a party with built in weakness but republicans just don’t seem to be able to figure out how to break the factions.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. Oh yes he is. He’s running for hope and change, as in changing the culture, history and dignity of this country. He does not operate within the constitution.
Hoping he can get all of it done before he’s out. And he will be out coming up on 2 1/2 years to go.
