Former president of the Indian Psychiatric Society Dr Indira Sharma has courted controversy by claiming that homosexuality is unnatural, a statement made three days ago at an annual meet of psychiatrists.
The LGBT community has brought "talk of sex to the roads", she told Times of India. "Heterosexuals don't talk about sex. It's a private matter," she told Times of India.
The report quoted a psychiatrist who attended the summit as saying Sharma's speech took a condescending approach towards homosexuals. Sharma denied to TOI that she called for "homo clubs" to be shut down.
She said her speech was about homosexuals who were uncomfortable about their sexuality and wanted to change their sexual orientation. "She added that those comfortable with their orientation should be made aware that their behaviour was causing a lot of uneasiness in society," the report said.
Sharma, who teaches at Banaras Hindu University, reportedly stirred a hornet's nest at last year's annual meeting too, when she suggested that early marriage for women was advisable.
She has a PhD in Forensic Medicine....smarter than 99.9999999999999% of the pro-homosexual “journalists” who will cover this story.

Universal rules were put into place for us to follow or not to our own advantage or detriment.
“Marriage” is whatever everyone agrees it is. That makes it law.
I don’t see why lawyers aren’t pushing polygamy more. The complications in law would bring in all kinds of new divorce-related business.
God determines all morality...when society turns away from God you get the problems we are experiencing today and getting worse rapidly. The fallacy that man creates morality is what gets us into trouble. Justification is an interesting thing to consider...every human MUST justify their thoughts and behavior...without exception. Even the insane must justify. The reason for this is because God already instilled right and wrong in us...His laws. So, justification is our human attempts to conform to those laws (we do not even have to have an awareness of God for this).

Heterosexuality is the norm for the animal kingdom. Consider the consequences for that kingdom if the norm were to suddenly shift to homosexual behavior.

I prefer to think for myself as to what is natural and normal.
One object lesson comes from my Navy son who spend his naval career flying around in P3 aircraft.
He called us one day when he was overseas but he couldn't say where he was. The phone he called from, however, had a number ... and that number told me he was on the ground in Saudi Arabia.
My son told me more later about being there. One event was that his arab hosts invited he and his buddies to go to Friday ceremonies where they were given front row seats. That ceremony turned out to be the standardized religous execution of locals ... and ... bloody-area ... front row seats were for infidels.
What needs to be realized here is that there are religious nuts everywhere.

Saw an Indian Dr pin an entire staff to the wall over homosexuality in a patient last month. Took them to task for not treating the mental disorder as well as the physical disorder.
The American Psychiatric Association classified homosexuality as a mental disorder until they changed their minds in 1973.
Were they wrong then, or are they wrong now?
Either way, we see they have no credibility.
