IF you had cereal for breakfast or just scoffed a sandwich for lunch, maybe don't read this. Because grains are destroying your brain, according to this doctor.
David Perlmutter, a renowned neurologist and president of the Perlmutter Health Center in Naples, Florida, says there's a close relationship between lifestyle, our modern diet and dementia.
Dr Perlmutter, who has just released a New York Times best-selling book Grain Brain: The Surprising Truth About Wheat, Carbs, and Sugar - Your Brain's Silent Killers says it's not just unhealthy carbs that should be cut.

My response: “Send more notices. House short on toilet paper. Kiss kiss.”
If parents are volunteering to subject themselves to this policy they deserve everything they get. That parents volunteer to subject themselves to this policy tells the rest of us we are doomed as a free society.
The child must be removed from the clutches of that stupid mother.
She must be fined thousands for being such a twerp. I am being polite.
okay...I’ll be walking into heavy now...it’s over people...any parent that would put up with this - well hand over through voting theirs and everyone’s rights to whoever just so they don’t have to think anymore...too many morons having kids and too many morons killing kids - and the rest of us - well, we are screwed!
Here’s a novel idea:
Take care of your own kids instead of outsourcing their parenting.
And we wonder why there is an obesity problem? People only need to eat a balanced diet throughout the day; eating every single item at every meal leads to an excess of calories, which leads to obesity. Furthermore, when a child so young becomes obese, her or his body is changed in such a way that he or she will have to deal with weight issues throughout life.
There is also the issue that schools should not be deciding what kids eat. Educate the parents on proper nutrition, fine. But dictate how they should feed the kids? Just no!
At the age of two, my son would eat nothing but yogurt and granola bars...
Somewhere soon a mom will get a fine because she put a grain in the lunch and some other young skull full of mush in the lunchroom is gluten intolerant.
Besides the obvious outrage at this, the note at the bottom says that parents will be charged $5 per missing item, so why was the individual charged $10 for missing the 1 grain?
All 4 of us kids survived grade school & high school with peanut butter & jam sandwiches. It took a whole loaf of bread every day to make the required number of sandwiches.
We didn’t have a cafeteria in any of our schools. We had access to a machine that dispensed a pint of milk for a nickel. Nothing else. If apples were in season, we got such, or a banana or an orange.
