The last time we did a solid for the Saudis in ‘91 we angered a bunch of jihadis by simply being there. And they eventually brought down the WTC and killed 3K Americans. Saudis suffered nothing IIRC. You know Rome fell when they started using Gothic and Celtic merks to do their fighting. We seem to be going about our Fall by doing the opposite.

Hell, the French ought to be back on-board any moment now. I guess that tidbit definitely overrides the Constitution of “negative rights”.

Reached for comment, the Saudi leadership stated:
We will gladly pay you next Tuesday for a hamburger er war on Syria today.
In the grand tradition of Popeye's peripheral friend 'Wimpie', the leadership made Kerry an offer he seemingly can't refuse.

Then let them send in their own troops, planes and missiles...Why would they sacrifice their own people when American politicians will sell, rent or simply gift the US military? Obama, Kerry, McCain, Petraeus and whole cast of characters feel that there's still enough American "blue-eyed slaves" - I believe that was the king's term - to do this job despite the last 20 years of thinning the ranks (all done with that good, old-fashioned "Saudi support").

Since the Saudi royals are not Americas friend, this is going to cost the U.S. somehow ... someway. Unknown though the how and way ... yet. Saudi petro dollars from the sale of LNG through a new pipeline put through Syria, will go to Al Queda for another 9-11 attack on America just like the last Saudi-Al Queda attack on America.

What is not mentioned, glossed over is that the support of Saudi Arabia for an attack on Syria is not the result of any concern for humanity, the immorality of gassing thousands of Assad’s own citizens but much more cynical, the removal of the Alawite controlled government whose Shiite followers is a religious, political anathema to the Wahhabi Whoremasters in Riyadh.
