As the congressional investigation into the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, continues to heat up, State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters on Monday that the administration is allowing survivors of the attack and other Department employees to come forward and tell the truth about what happened.
“We have always encouraged any State Department employee who wants to share their story and tell the truth,” Ventrell said on Monday, according to the Washington Post.
But a letter the State Department’s Acting Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs Thomas Gibbons sent to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on the same day tells a completely different story. Gibbons was responding to a request from Graham for the administration to allow Congress to interview the five Diplomatic Security agents who survived the attack.

Do they know the names of the five they wish to interview, or their whereabouts? If this evil corrupt administration is still managing to conceal the names and locations of the survivors, it might be next to impossible to subpoena them.
My, my.....what’s going on at the State Department that so many of their employees have to be kept secret? Do we have another intelligence agency these days? The stinking Democrats went berserk over American intelligence agencies in the 60s and 70s, and now they’re starting them up all over the place. What a bunch of hypocrites.
I keep thinking about what you said there. We should watch the media on this since they have refused to explore the back ground of Barack Obama and his associates.
Its always interesting that as soon as something they can sensationalize and use politically, like George Zimmerman turns up, they know every aspect of his life and talk to every relative withing 24 hours. Yet, we still know nothing of Obama's missing college years, and have heard from no one that went to class with him at Columbia or sat through one of his lectures at Chicago U.
What does that mean? Especially "it"?
