The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent a written warning about accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012, long before pressure-cooker blasts killed three and maimed hundreds, according to a senior Saudi government official with direct knowledge of the document. The Saudi warning, the official told MailOnline, was separate from the multiple red flags raised by Russian intelligence in 2011, and was based on human intelligence developed independently in Yemen. Citing security concerns, the Saudi government also denied an entry visa to the elder Tsarnaev brother in December 2011, when he hoped to make a pilgrimage to Mecca. Tsarnaev's plans to visit Saudi Arabia have not been previously disclosed.

When you look at how many security.intel briefings Obama blew off, he has plausible deniability with this. I hate saying it. But he does.

I think you are right. The reason is found in your second paragraph concerning the “real” news. It actually is more impactful to most people, because most people are in thrall to entertainment, and have lost the ability to resist. They are conditioned, and corrected, and corrupted. It’s all about the treats and fantasy.
For most people, the real world is ignored in favor of the iphone and hdmi. There is no future, there is no responsibility. We are a weak and disarmed society.
People don’t change until they have to. Give the treats and they will follow.
That’s it. Head must roll. If even as scape goats.

This report from the Carnegie Endowment covers Saudi “cooperation” with the US in fighting terrorism. In fact, money supporting jihadist movements in North Caucasus (think Chechnya, Boston Bombers) traces back to Saudi Arabia and Osama bin Laden. Moreover, they continue to support the Muslim Brotherhood - they just don’t want them in the neighborhood.
