The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent a written warning about accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012, long before pressure-cooker blasts killed three and maimed hundreds, according to a senior Saudi government official with direct knowledge of the document. The Saudi warning, the official told MailOnline, was separate from the multiple red flags raised by Russian intelligence in 2011, and was based on human intelligence developed independently in Yemen. Citing security concerns, the Saudi government also denied an entry visa to the elder Tsarnaev brother in December 2011, when he hoped to make a pilgrimage to Mecca. Tsarnaev's plans to visit Saudi Arabia have not been previously disclosed.
Was it preventable? A senior Saudi official says his country warned the U.S. about Tamerlane Tsarnaev in 2012, advising the federal government that he planned an attack on a major U.S. city
Did she know? Janet Napolitano (R) sits atop the Department of Homeland Security, the agency that allegedly received a detailed letter from the Saudi kingdom about Tsarnaev (L) and three Pakistani jihadis The Saudis' warning to the U.S. government was also shared with the British government. 'It was very specific and warned that 'something was going to happen in a major U.S. city,' the Saudi official said during an extensive interview. It 'did name Tamerlan specifically,' he added. The 'government-to-government' letter, which he said was sent to the Department of Homeland Security at the highest level, did not name Boston or suggest a date for his planned attack.

Good question but so far in this story, they have been pretty spot on....unlike our own statist media.
Bingo. That is what I am thinking too. Something has shifted fundamentally.
Not much difference between the MB and AQ , is there? Seems like Obama is helping radical Islamists all over the ME instill their caliphate. The Saudi regime may be getting nervous that they will be next. Saudi Arabia is the big prize in these jihadist fantasies.
I’m relatively sure that not all info gets to the WH, I suspect it gets screened on the way up (I don’t know for sure, have never worked in government, I’m just thinking about how it works in a corporation). That said, if high-ups in the Russian and Saudi governments had sent letters warning of an individual(s), then one would surmise that they would reach fairly high levels in the US government.
President Bush had daily briefings (early a.m.) with Stephen Hadely (head of Nat’l Security)and other meetings w his advisors (daily IIRC) and other security advisors frequently. Obummer not so much (though his advisor claims he reads the briefing every day). I remembered this coming up in the last election (along with him not meeting with his economic council, etc., etc.). I guess if he doesn’t attend briefings, the word doesn’t get to him, so he thinks he can keep his grubby hands clean (I know nothing!). Wonder if Valerie is having briefings as part of her ‘co-presidency’.
Why is Obama skipping more than half of his daily intelligence meetings?
By Marc A. Thiessen,September 10, 2012
From the article:
“The Government Accountability Institute, a new conservative investigative research organization, examined President Obamas schedule from the day he took office until mid-June 2012, to see how often he attended his Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) the meeting at which he is briefed on the most critical intelligence threats to the country. During his first 1,225 days in office, Obama attended his PDB just 536 times or 43.8 percent of the time. During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less frequent falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obamas predecessor, George W. Bush almost never missed his daily intelligence meeting.”

“While the Bush records are not yet available electronically for analysis, officials tell me the former president held his intelligence meeting six days a week, no exceptions usually with the vice president, the White House chief of staff, the national security adviser, the director of National Intelligence, or their deputies, and CIA briefers in attendance. Once a week, he held an expanded Homeland Security briefing that included the Homeland Security adviser, the FBI director and other homeland security officials. Bush also did more than 100 hour-long deep dives in which he invited intelligence analysts into the Oval Office to get their unvarnished and sometimes differing views. Such meetings deepened the presidents understanding of the issues and helped analysts better understand the problems with which he was wrestling.”

I guess the Saudi intelligence has vastly improved since before 911.
At the very least this is dangerous incompetence.....at the worst..it is treason.
Both should result in Obama’s removal from office.
IMPEACH!!
OOOOOPS!
I’ve been reading them for a few months and they seem reliable to me, but a story this big is going to need multiple sources to gain any traction.
I just posted a thread that says the BOAT WAS IN THE SEARCH ZONE
It’s pretty incredible that Saudi Arabia is going against the guy who bows to their King.
Great..I will go find it and ping the list!
Pinging list to this link below too:
News of this Saudi stuff is starting to percolate through the worldwide media:

A few so far......hmmmmm....
Fox’n Friends opened with the Saudi story this morning.
Prayers that this gets the news it deserves!!
Time for the wheels to come off this rogue and lawless administration!
Fox ‘n Friends said that the admin is denying it received any report from the Sauid’s.....
WOW..great insight...will keep that in the back of my mind as I watch this play out.
Could very well explain everything.
Denying the story. Yeah, that’s a surprise!
