They can’t pass gun control via Congress so they’re going the dictator route. This is not going to go over well.

If true, may Impeachment proceedings begin. This is crossing the line beyond the line past the line already crossed.

With the ball-less Republicans in THIS Congress, the obozomesiter could issue XOs outlawing the entire Constitution itself and they would just bend over and take it.

This country is primed for the illegal seizure of guns. Congress wouldn’t do it, so Obama will stomp on the accelerator and take us all to where he wanted to go in the first place. The media and the Political Elite are not likely to raise a fuss.

Zero can write EOs that affect the Executive branch depts. There is damage that can be done but limited to within the scope ofthe Executive.

In truth, EOs only affect those branches/departments of government directly under the Executive Branch. Think of it as a department head or division chief of a company sending instructions to his underlings.
It is a means to potentially cause mischief...at the same time, it’s nowhere near divine-right-of-kings grade supreme power.
Obama has gotten away with this crap previously because it didn’t have much effect on a lot of Americans. However, if he thinks he can play Caesar by using executive orders (that effectively expire at the end of his term and can be cancelled by the next president) to thwart the constitutional rights of gun owners, he will get a much overdue surprise. Claiming he isn’t ‘outlawing’ guns but putting onerous restrictions on gun owners and making gun ownership unduly expensive and difficult is certainly against the intent of the Second Amendment. Such rubbish must be opposed in courts and on the street. Obama wants to play dictator...let’s see how that works out for him in America.

Of course, I agree.
But we need to see the calculation through the eyes of the Left. If a cop kicks in my door tomorrow, because he wants to seize my guns, and if I open up a can of whup-ass, what will the media say? "Domestic terrorist gunned down by police. More blood on American soil because of extremism."
You can lather rinse and repeat that quite a few times before the sheeple start saying, "Hey, I think Obama may be going too far."
Obama and his handlers know that it is time to strike when the iron is hot, and right now the iron has never been hotter. I'm sure he will ultimately fail in his attempt, but I am equally sure that he will nevertheless make the attempt.
