But we need to see the calculation through the eyes of the Left. If a cop kicks in my door tomorrow, because he wants to seize my guns, and if I open up a can of whup-ass, what will the media say? "Domestic terrorist gunned down by police. More blood on American soil because of extremism."

You can lather rinse and repeat that quite a few times before the sheeple start saying, "Hey, I think Obama may be going too far."

Obama and his handlers know that it is time to strike when the iron is hot, and right now the iron has never been hotter. I'm sure he will ultimately fail in his attempt, but I am equally sure that he will nevertheless make the attempt.

But right now, they don't really have a good idea of who does or does not own firearms. Can't kick in 30 million doors. At once.

I live in Konnecticut, so they know that I own a revolver - but outside of that they have no idea what else I own (nothing).
