U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that the U.S. Constitution does not allow the targeted drone killing of a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil who does not pose an imminent threat to life or bodily harm.
Let me be clear. Translate my appropriate to no. I thought I was saying no. Alright? No, Holder said after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) asked him six times whether hypothetically it was constitutional for the U.S. to use a drone to kill a U.S. citizen sitting in a café in the U.S. who does not pose an immediate threat.
If an individual is sitting quietly at a café in the United States, in your legal judgment, does the Constitution allow a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil to be killed by a drone? Cruz (R-Texas) asked Holder.
I would not think that that would be an appropriate use of any kind of lethal force. We would deal with that in the way that we typically deal with a situation like that, Holder said before Cruz cut him off.

Since their goal is the demise of said Constitution, they must feel safe making such statements, now, given their already-stated intent. After Protracted Questioning: Holder Admits Its Unconstitutional for Govt to Kill U.S. Citizen Sitting Peacefully in U.S. in Café
Well golly gee, what a relief that is. Thank you Eric Holder, you’re a saint!
He meant to say the word “no” but somehow the word “appropriate” came out.
Anyone can see how easily that could happen, especially to the Attorney General of the United States, when testifying before Congress.
But if he leaves the cafe and walks on the sidewalk he’s picking drone parts out of his skull.
What if he’s sitting in the cafe drinking a 20 ounce soda?
This legality does NOT apply if you live in Ruby Ridge, or Waco! Eh Ricky?
‘Sitting Peacefully’
What if he’s laughing too loud like the guy in Long Island who got a citation for disturbing the peace for laughing too loud in his own house?
When the blast takes the neighbors' houses off the foundations, it will be blamed on:
A: Right wing maniacs storing ammunition and explosives.
B: Natural Gas leak
C: Left winged maniacs storing powder and explosives
D: Muslim terrorists
E: Domestic terrorists.
or some such. After all the BATFE will likely drop by and take over (sanitize) the investigation.
Okay.
Now suppose she is loading ammo into her trunk in the parking lot at Walmart>
Eat at McDonalds or anyplace where the net caloric intake exceeds 500 calories and you’re fair game...
multiple snipers and swat teams IOW.
I guess it depends on what the meaning of “appropriate” is.
This sh!t never stops with these democrats
How about if he was sitting in a Chick-fil-A?
or wearing a Boy Scout uniform?
People in the future will feel lucky to be rounded up and sentenced to the FEMA Re-education camps or the FEMA Gulag in lieu of being “droned”.

Of course, it wouldn’t stop them from doing it. They are above the law—ANY law.
He recognizes the Constitution doesnt allow it but since when does the Constitution mean anything to him or his boss?
,or posting on FR,whilst drinking a Cold beverage? :)
i really trust these people to determine who’s threatening or not.
these people are open traitors and outlaws to the constitution. he fourth reich is emerging. too bsd most people are just eating weight watchers and watching ‘entertainment tonite’ for their daily news.
Either Ted Cruz is stupid, or he is trying to help Holder by this questioning. Why does it matter if the man in question is in a cafe? Why does it matter if a drone is the method of assassination?
