He meant to say the word “no” but somehow the word “appropriate” came out.

Anyone can see how easily that could happen, especially to the Attorney General of the United States, when testifying before Congress.

"No" and "thou shalt not" are concepts that were time-tested even by the time they were recognized in the Bible.

"Appropriate" is a concept that came out of comparatively recent, unproven, secular social sciences like psychology.

In other words, "appropriate" is crap.
