Thanks; got it. I don’t know what happened. My TV switched to 2 pre-scheduled recordings. I canceled one and went back to C-Span2 (I thought) and heard announcement they were switching to Holder hearing from this afternoon and going to broadcast Rand Paul later in the evening.
I must have switched to C-Span instead of C-Span2.

So heartwarming for him to know about the overwhelming support. I think it gave him a third wind (second wind came after Harry Reid).
I really don’t know how he is doing this. He is moving into his 9th hour-— virtually alone. Stunning.

“I’ve been watching Rand Paul ALL afternoon! I was really jazzed to see Senator Cruz read the tweets to him.”
I have sat in my chair all day watching this. My living space downstairs is one big room so no wall between setting area and kitchen and bathroom is right off the downstairs hall and can easily hear TV from there. I was mentally sending him food and drink and bathroom stops.
I got chills when Cruz spoke about the anniversary of the fall of the Alamo being today and then he came back and read the Travis letter he wrote at the Alamo. That just put this whole thing in perspective - it is our liberty that is threatened today just as it was at the Alamo. Paul said he had to memorize the Travis letter when in school in Texas.

Where is GOP leadership. If they are okay with drone creep, we are in trouble. Water-boarding looks like kindergarten. Where is Hollywood outrage?

He can leave the floor when he turns it over to a senator. The last time Cruz took over and I saw Paul cross behind Cruz headed out of the floor of senate. Think he was gone long enough to potty and eat/drink sonmething.
Earlier, saw him eating what looked like granola as he was speaking, then saw him take drink of water that is in front or to the side of him.
