Who knew that the Second Amendment was so specific on what arms the people could and could not bear? You really are out on a limb here. The people in power today are just following the 2A to the letter: The people's right shall not be infringed to keep any form of Arms of bears. I presume this would include fur and claws. The only question I'm not sure about is the elbow.

This is all hot air. It has zero chance of passing. They just want to put the bill forth then blame the GOP when it doesn’t pass..the usual libtard tactics.

So far its sole a tremendous number of firearms, ammo, and other supplies.

"Yes but there is another reason as well. They need stuff like this to distract the masses from the failed economy and high unemployment rate. Sure they want it to pass. And to your point they are aware it may take a while to get it done. And even it doesn't pass now they can take advantage of this "crisis" to make it appear they are actually doing something and distract from their record."That was among my thoughts -- they crafted something that is impossible to pass in this congress -- allowing them to dance on the coffins of those 20 kids and blame the Republicans. This is about the 2014 election already. And the end of America.

No, it doesn’t bother me. It was just a suggestion because I thought people would continue to correct you before reading on. As I did.

Almost any idiot can vote, but if we can turn a substantial number of gun owners into criminals, they won’t be voting any more. Get it?

Redundancy alert. One and the same.
And you are correct. 8000+ plus joining the NRA, record gun sales in every state, people who never even considered buying/owning guns are buying them now.
All because libs don’t understand the concept of “live and let live”.

Go ahead and pray, but you're wrong.
I wish he would. He would be signing the Democrat's electoral death warrant for 2014.

I hope you’re right, but I’m not taking any chances this time. It’s time to push back, hard.
I think she’d be happy with any incremental reduction in rights: maybe a ban on private sales, ban on “high capacity” magazines. Don’t give her an inch.

I'm not worried about these gun grabbers-two reasons. My liberal sister who has been afraid of my purse (because of the .357 in it)for the first time didn't make me leave at the house when we went to church.
Second, a number of years ago I was assistant HR at a large distribution center. The company came out banning guns, knives, mace, pepper spay etc. on the grounds, even in locked cars. I got the task of getting each employee to sign on the dotted line affirming this. What a battle, even with old ladies who had never even had a weapon. Everyone knew I carried and locked it in my trunk. Security was going to spot check cars. I told the troops, just sign the blasted paper and do what you need to do. It was get fired for not signing or get fired if you got caught. People were absolutely livid but took my suggestion. Nothing ever came of it, no spot checks. Security knew I carried, but I'm a “formidable woman” as we say here in the South. The South will not disarm.
