Post 'em here and tell why please.
“I like Dennys as a family chain. Im a fan of the approx $5.00 grand slam breakfast.”
There is a Denny’s about two blocks from me and it’s my “go to” restaurant 24 hrs. a day. I was there a lot when my husband was dying of cancer and the manager knew that and would not let me pay for my coffee. While that was happening and Bill’s sister would come, we lived on Denny’s take out food and ate well. I have their take out menu and a phone call gets my food cooking.
Thanks for promoting Denny’s, a great neighborhood restaurant that has compassion for their regular customers.
I have heard Tyson Foods; but weren’t they in deep with the Clintons?
um not so much. the chairman of OG is a big bambi supporter
In the Pac NW, try Burgerville and Taco Time. All small franchises, good service and good “fast” food and a wholesome environment.
Guess you have not heard about Darden restaurants teaming up with Michelle Obama.
My Dad loved the Bob Evans in Mansfield, Ohio the staff always treated him well.
Ah yes! Haven’t been there is ages!
Dutchmen on the sign with a windmill in the background. Loved their burgers in high school.
“...huge contributor to the Democratic party. As is Sonic.”
Noooooo!!!! Say it aint so. We love Sonic. I guess it’s In-N-Out from now on. Also, I thought the corporate owner of The Olive Garden supported gays. I’m pretty sure I read that a few months back on FR as I vowed to never eat there or their other branded restaurants again.
The Olive Garden reference is a FReeper joke. A while back some former members made a big deal about Jim saying he went to eat at the Olive Garden. They were shocked Jim was living such a lavish(ha ha ha ha) lifestyle on his FR salary.
It was(and probably still is) the lamest attack on the site I've seen. It would be funny if it weren't for such a sad statement on what must be the pitiful souls who started it. What kind of person thinks Olive Garden is the lavish high life?
Every time I read someone else mention the Olive Garden thing, I think of Granny Clampett in awe over them 'rich folk's cement ponds and horseless carriages.
And it wasn’t even on my lavish salary. The “dinner” was a freeper chapter event in San Diego. They chose the venue and the chapter members generously treated us to lunch. And it was a great lunch and even greater fellowship.
Darn it, you should have held out for more then.. Johnny Carinos.. now that is living the high life. :->
I’m very grateful for the San Diego Chapter and their gracious hospitality. A good time was had by all. Even the anti-freepers.
Can’t remember exactly. It was the only place I had seen two at the same exit. Seen about 75 others in my various trips. If I had bucks, I’d bring the franchise to Los Angeles. Hard to find eats late at night. I think the company wants an existing employee to open new franchises.
WH is easy to locate in the corner of a parking lot and such.
I just ate at Whataburger today!
They gave me a receipt that gave me their website and said if I fill out an online survey in the next 3 days they will give me a free burger!
I love Whataburger. If you ever have a chance to catch them when they have their Green Chili Burger... let’s just say wow.
(and I usually try to avoid fast food and greasy stuff but sometimes you really want a burger- usually during a hangover).
I love a Green Chili Burger!
Oh yea I love the waffle house!
Went there with a friend in Kansas City, and hit one on one of the tours earlier this year.
The night shift is very cool (as is the day shift) and it seem you can always find a future rocket scientist or doctor working their way through school.
Or contemplating it...
I will continue eating at the Olive Garden ‘cause I can point at a picture to order.
When I learn how to read, I may graduate to the Red Lobster!
The Chuck Box in Tempe AZ.....yummm!!!
