All of these points have already been featured in the presidents other recent speeches. Between the pre-speech hype from the campaign, the lack of new material and the overall length of the speech reporters were clearly dissatisfied with end result. Read on for a sampling of Tweets from the political press slamming the presidents speech.
Before the speech was over, Politicos Mike OBrien begged the president to stop.

In terms of politics, this speech could have ended about 20 minutes ago. Drive your message, take your ball, go home.
On the air, MSNBCs Jonathan Alter said it was one of the worst speeches Ive ever heard Barack Obama make. He refused to back down.

Just cheerleading BO doesn't help him. He needs a sharper, more cogent message with some memorable lines. I ain't walking my criticism back
ABC News reporter Devin Dwyer felt like we were all being lectured.
devindwyer@devindwyer
Obama speech in Ohio felt more lecture or courtroom arg than rally. He streamlined pitch, imbued urgency, said voters will break stalemate.
John Hayward of Human Events compared the speech to a filibuster.
John Hayward@Doc_0
This Obama speech is so long-winded it might be the first attempt to filibuster an election.

Bwahahaha! lol :-)
He just needs some fake columns and that god-like reverb pulsing through the speakers....
Just cheerleading BO doesn't help him.
A sideways admission that he is normally just a cheerleader.
The Thrill is Gone
B.B. King
The thrill is gone
The thrill is gone away
The thrill is gone baby
The thrill is gone away
You know you done me wrong baby
And you’ll be sorry someday
The thrill is gone
It’s gone away from me
The thrill is gone baby
The thrill is gone away from me
Although I’ll still live on
But so lonely I’ll be
The thrill is gone
It’s gone away for good
Oh, the thrill is gone baby
Baby its gone away for good
Someday I know I’ll be over it all baby
Just like I know a man should
You know I’m free, free now baby
I’m free from your spell
I’m free, free now
I’m free from your spell
And now that it’s over
All I can do is wish you well
Check out Twitter #ObamaSpeechIn4Words - it’s actually quite humorous
Please just flush the toilet in November....end this insane destruction of our country.
If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.
W. C. Fields quote
“He is not only dull himself, he is the cause of dullness in others.”
- Samuel Johnson
Someone got a whiff of Nov defeat. It’s catching on.
WOW! Biden would look more alive if laying in a casket!
Pathetic! A Total MORON! and BRAINLESS!
Mediaites are starting to ‘hear’ what Obama has been repeating for 3.5 years.
Many of US already concluded that his speeches were lecturous, repetitious.
Maybe, the media finally cleaned the Obamawax out of their ears and are actually ‘hearing’ what his is saying — which isn’t much.
“Maybe, the media finally cleaned the Obamawax out of their ears and are actually hearing what his is saying which isnt much.”
But they will still do their best to lie and make pretty p-resident POS here, just to get him re-elected. They are all in the fix.
I understand “fair share” is tax the rich, but, I still don’t know what “fair shot” or “play by the same rules” are.
I remember when 0bama gave an i-pad with his speeches on it to Queen Elizabeth as a gift. What a cheap, tacky gift. I bet she threw it into the royal moat. I could not listen that guy if you paid me $100 per hour.
Sounds as though The Wan is an egg-laying mammal, the Dullville Platitude.
This guy is starting to look a lot like hitler. hitlers speeches were always at least an hour, sometimes two.
Obama’s complex campaign message poses a challenge. Will “Hocus Pocus Alakazam” fit on a bumper sticker?
