MANCHESTER - Herman Cain acknowledged Thursday that he repeatedly gave Ginger White money to help her with "month-to-month bills and expenses" without telling his wife of more than 40 years.
In fact, the embattled presidential candidate said, his wife, Gloria, "did not know that we were friends until she (White) came out with this story" alleging that the two had a 13-year extramarital affair.

Cain also stated clearly for the first time that as a result of the constant controversy he has been facing, he is considering getting out of the presidential race.
Asked whether leaving the race is one of the options he is currently assessing, Cain said, “Yes, it is an option.” Regarding his decision, he said, "You will know by next week" as he takes the weekend to reassess where he stands in the campaign.

wives just don’t understand helping out women who need help... that’s why i always keep it off the radar.

I agree that there is someone behind it. I also think the Chicago woman was lying when she got to the part about Cain groping her.
But Cain has dissembled with the other charges and accusers, and the smearer putting these women up to it seems merely to be picking from 1) the most financially desperate women in his past and 2) those women who had received harassment settlements from his former employer.
The question is how many more such women in his past do the smearers have to work with. The circumstantial evidence around this one stinks.

He claimed not to know anything about more than one harassment charge, then it came out that he had been informed in detail and allowed to counter the second woman’s charges. He also said he wasn’t aware of any settlements, and then when caught on that said he was in his mind thinking of the word ‘agreements’ for settlements.
Guilty.

Never said they didn’t. The left has selective amnesia when it comes to matters such as this. For instance, Bill Clinton toed the party line so was surrounded by party apologists.
The left will destroy anyone who strays to far, especially a black man. Ask Clarence Thomas, Cosby, Cain, etc. All designed to fit into the stereotype of the black male. The left are and always have been the real racists. They will make stuff up if they have to.
You know, I like Herman...I wanted to see him succeed, and still do. My wife and I both were supporting him. He appears to be “one of us”...a hometown kid made good, so to speak.
I’m still giving the guy the benefit of the doubt...my wife, however...well...
This bit about his wife not knowing positivel RANKLED her...I was talking it over with her, as she saw it first and when I said I don’t think he did anything with this latest bimbo, she gave me the raised eyebrow/hairy eyeball look...like, “Dumbass...are you that naive?”
“He was sleeping with her...” was the first thing she said to me.
I said “Well, maybe not...after all, this is what the Dems do - etc. etc.,...”
The hairy eyeball did NOT waver one iota. Not telling his wife is the part NOT sitting well - it makes him look like he was “sneaking sally through the alley”.
For me, I still don’t buy it; maybe he WAS just helping her out, but for the life of me, if it was that innocent, I can’t understand WHY he wouldn’t tell his wife, and why he wouldn’t expect this crap to surface eventually.
And - If this biimboslut was so desperate for money, it makes PERFECT sense that when the Dems came along with Obama’s “walking around” money and waved it in her face, she’d throw herself on the floor, immediately roll over and open her legs for them in a heartbeat and stick Cain in the back - even if he never had an affair with her to begin with.
Whores are whores...just like liberals are liberals, always, first, and foremost. Then again, it IS hard to tell the difference between them, isn’t it???
With the double standard we operate under - where Dems/libs can be as corrupt and slimewaddy as the day is long and they get a free pass, and one of our side farts in Church and it’s the crime of the century, we’re ALWAYS going to have these scenarios.
Nobody is fault-free, but with today’s “Give The Republican A Daily Anal Probe” media, this is what we have to expect - especially when there’s the remotest hint of hidden “Bimboes On Demand” that the Dems can produce.

Sexual relationship or not, this shows incredibly poor judgment on Cain’s part.

No kidding. That is why I am supporting Jon Huntsman. But it isn’t a credo that has exactly defined the primary season thus far. And now the search for a savior candidate and everything Sarah Palin worked for has led many people into the arms of the devil himself. Boring but excellent in mind and character and ideological dependable is all I ask. :)
I’ve lived in the Atlanta area for almost 20 years, where Cain is based. He has — or HAD, until now — a sterling reputation here. The man built a career over four decades at various companies in various geographic locations, and yet, I’m supposed to believe that he went hog-wild during 2-3 years at the NRA (with accusations coming out of Chicago...hmmm). This last one supposedly was still having an affair with him when he was battling for his life against stage 4 prostate cancer ... hmmmm. After a supposed 13-year affair, all this one can produce is a cell phone bill and a couple of books he signed for her? And now we’re finding out that SHE initiated most of the text message exchanges, including the one at 4:30 AM, and a lot of her messages were asking for money? C’mon, a 13-year affair. She claims he flew her around the country to be with him and showered her with gifts. OK, let’s see the gifts. Airplane boarding passes? Concert or other event tickets? Pictures? Love letters? Incriminating answering machine messages? WITNESSES? One of her former business partners during that time said that she NEVER ONCE mentioned Herman Cain. A 13-year affair would leave more of a trail. Plus, we find out that this woman has had a bankruptcy and six evictions (true, good people can get in a financial bind, especially now, but that could indicate a possible financial motive). We also find out that she filed a sexual harassment suit that was dismissed, had a restraining order against her for stalking/harassing/threatening e-mail and text messages, and she was served with a libel suit that she lost because she failed to answer it. I’m sorry, but she is hardly a credible accuser.
I’m giving Cain the benefit of the doubt here. He has a reputation as a kind and generous man, and it infuriates me to see this being done to him and to his family. I’ll choose to take my cue from Gloria Cain. That woman is nobody’s fool.
You have no clue what it is like to be a pastor’s family. I do. I have no idea all the people that my husband may have pitched in to help, although I know some of them. A person could take any of those instances where the recipient happened to be a woman and try to make mincemeat out of my husband’s reputation, simply because to the impure all things are impure. Believe it or not, but there are lots of people in this world who give without getting something in return. A lot of them are pastors, who are constantly being asked for help by people in various kinds of need. This is routine stuff for pastor’s families. And there are people - often women - who are perpetually needing help and keep coming back, refusing to let go until they get what they need.
My husband has one gal who keeps coming back; he knows she is lying to him and the other Lutheran pastors in the area know of her lying as well; the inter-denominational Ministerial ASsociation has long since gone past their limit on what they’re supposed to do for one person. The local Community Action office knows her and won’t give extra help to her for the same reasons. So who does she have that she can go to? The individual pastors, who know that if she doesn’t get assistance her kids are going to be without heat or food.
Pastors don’t tell people the stuff they give because it’s between them and God, and the Bible says not to do stuff to get praise from people but to not let your right hand know what the left is doing.
And most people have no idea what pastors have to deal with.
I can’t say what happened with Cain, but I can say that what he claims happened would not be out of line with what I have experienced as a pastor’s wife.
Sigh. People have no clue what it’s like to be a pastor’s family. My husband doesn’t tell me who all he has counseled or helped. In many marriages that would be considered terrible, but as a pastor that is just a fact of life. And pastors’ wives know that from the outset.
Because pastors deal with people in need, they have to be available at all hours. That doesn’t mean they lie awake at night to receive texts at 4am, but it does mean that they might receive texts or calls at any hour of day or night. That’s what it means to be a pastor. What time of day were Cain’s responses?

My husband has helped women with their bills - women who come back time and time again. He’s a pastor; that’s part of what they do. Now you’re saying that’s evil?
Should a counselor tell his wife about every woman he counsels? Does an OB/GYN tell his wife about every woman he examines?
People, do you have any clue what pastors even DO? What their life is about? As a pastor’s wife, I know there will be situations where my husband is helping women in a variety of different ways, one of which is financially if the situation is critical. I think he tells me most of the time when our family’s money is being given but I’m sure it’s not all of the time. Nor have I told him every time I pitch in money for a good cause.

Has it ever occurred to you that the biggest sugar daddy in this country has all of George Soros’ bucks to offer this gal for taking out the one guy who could keep him out of the White House for the 4 more years he needs in order to totally destroy this country?
Hopefully Cain’s lawyer will get to the bottom of where this came from, but it is no secret that this gal has been evicted multiple times, even with whatever help Cain was giving her. She is desperate for money - more money than Cain would give her - and we all know who has always used money-grabbers to prop his own political career, don’t we? Have you heard of Solyndra? This is the standard modus operandus for Obama’s people.
One other thing too. Ginger White turned on her business partner as well - sending an e-mail claiming to city officials and clients that her business partner likes to date Black men but doesn’t like Black women’s hair. What kind of floozy does something like that? Then she ignored a subpoena because she thought the issue was already settled. Ummm.... would you be getting a subpoena if the issue was already settled?
White’s business partner was asked whether White’s claims about Cain seem credible to her. She said that anybody with questions should just look at the libel suit to see what White was like and the answer would be clear. So has anybody done that? Those who assume that Cain is guilty, have you seen what White was willing to claim about her business partner, or why White has - just very recently - been ruled guilty of libel?
Cain has said that White is “troubled”. And everything we can document about her life seems to fit that description.
