Herman Cain

Rick Perry

Mitt Romney
Romney was governor of Massachusetts (2003 to 2007) and former CEO of Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican 2008 nomination for president. He has an MBA (Harvard) and JD (Harvard Law).
Rick Santorum
Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.
If the president's job consisted of debate performances, that might be a disqualifier. Also, the Press doesn't get to set the number of debates or define the forum of debates for the general election. The two candidates agree to the number and type of debates. Perry can choose his best forums.
That Lutheran/Catholic background training must really be something to behold.
He has to GET there first!
I know you’re not holding your breath for a response indicating consistency.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I hope you weren’t holding your breath the whole time I was at the gym for yoga class. :-)
I didn’t post in order to get into a debate on Mormonism on a thread about last night’s debate. I only questioned the terminology of the post because I had no idea what she was saying. She has cleared it up and that’s all I’m interested in.
Yes, thank you.
Sarah Palin was Greta’s guest last night!
GO MR. SPEAKER!
I do my best. What is it you wanted to know? I read through the postings and posted to the original poster so as not to single anyone out. You, self-selected yourself. Like I said, what is it you want me to be "square" about? What's the mystery?
I didnt post in order to get into a debate on Mormonism on a thread about last nights debate.

Under the rules of the debates, if someone is mentioned they get to rebutt discuss etc...
Mormonism was mentioned in last nights debate
so since you have rightly said that this is “a thread about last nights debate”. anything mentioned should not be excluded...
I was merely repeating what was said last night...
There was a discussion about the Founding Fathers and Mormonism and I commented on it...
The Founding Fathers WERE dead dunked into Mormonism. I dont care how long after they were dead and when Mormonism was invnted...
It did happen...
However Romney was not honest last night about how the Mormons treated the same Founding fathers who they claim gave them the “right” to practice their Mormon religion...
They above are your words not mine.
The following is not sensible:
You state, “Im against everything the mormon church stands for, not the people.”
Religious belief ( regardless of the religion) , if it truly is believed, **is** the very fundamental essence of who and what that person **is**. It is their core worldview. How can you be against a religion and somehow not be against the person? Huh?
It's like saying that you are against everything the person believes, works for, strives for, organizes their life around, all their goals and projects, but...you are somehow not against the person. Sorry. That doesn't compute.
This is getting laborious. I didn’t question whether your post was credible, I only posted questioning the meaning of “dunk dead” and the relationship of Mormonism to the Founding Fathers. That’s all. You explained that, for which I thank you. My only further point to Elsie was that, being satisfied in your response, I really don’t care to discuss the issue further. If you care to, fine, but please exclude me from your discussion.
Thanks.
So apparently you know nothing of the mormonISM’s policy on abortion.
Seriously, study up before you comment on what mormonISM actually is.
Some issues are deal killers, and I do everything possible to either eliminate or minimize my contact with people who hold these “deal killer” beliefs.
But apparently you can be “against **everything** the mormon church stands for,” but somehow not be against the people who promote, live, stand for, defend, organize every minute of their day around, and establish “everything the mormon church stands for..”
Somehow being against **”everything**” the Mormon church stands for, isn't a deal killer for you.
Wow! Sorry...I don't see how that is possible.
Except, as I mentioned later, companies tend to incorporate increased expenses into the cost to the next guy in the chain.
I meant that Libya is in Africa.
The way she said it, she obviously didn’t realize that.
I agree about the troops. Just pointing out her inaccuracy and omission.
I only posted questioning the meaning of dunk dead and the relationship of Mormonism to the Founding Fathers. Thats all. You explained that, for which I thank you.

No kid I didnt “explain” anything...
Why I mentioned “temple word” is because that is what the ghosts of all those Founding Fathers were reported to have called it when they visited that Mormon leader and haunted him into dead dunking them because they claimed they needed it and deserved it...
You claimed you knew what “temple work” was and I asked you to explain it to me...
Well are you going to ???

Glock, if you think you have an "in" with JR because of your visit to Utah Binger's get-together, I doubt very much if it extends to your being given a pass for accusing other FReepers of "wanting to burn mormons in your furnace for heat this winter," you may be in for a surprise.
This is exactly the kind of hate speech that has resulted in the banning of several others who have leveled similar charges against other FReepers.
I suggest you rethink your method of attack.
BTW, the accusations of "mormon haters" was introduced on this thread due to my response of an "LOL" to a joke by a FReeper who has no connection with the Inmans. Flaglady47 jumped at the opportunity to begin her hate rants against the Inmans.

Romney is about to cry! Its a good thing he has the audience stacked with all his wives!
Perfect example of a Mormon hater. All his wives?

Oh
It could be that she knows more about the movement of the troops than we do...
Libya is in North Africa so she may not have been wrong after all..
Are you ignorant or stupid or both.
What a frakingly idiotic thing to say.
I don’t view a person’s religion as a “deal killer” when it comes to personal relationships. (islam is purposely excluded since it’s a form of government, an idealogy)
It’s part of who they are, not what they are. Why can’t one be against something someone else believes in, yet still care for that person? I have liberal friends that I work on persistently in getting them to see the light.
Thus it’s the same way with mormonism. I believe that every soul is worth saving and that cutting myself off from them is essentially a failure to follow God’s command.
But that’s just me I guess, because according to you, you just can’t see how it’s possible.
Your mileage obviously varies and I sense from your posts, that you are demonstrably timid in following the admonition in the Biblical scripture I posted.
Abandoning friends and acquaintances to their fate because of liberalism or a religion that is contrary to established Christian beliefs because their beliefs are “deal killers” to you is, in my mind, unconscionable.
I’m done with “hijacking” the thread.
FRegards
That’s my take on it too. I’m not convinced the 999 plan is stellar, but the talk of it is a good jumping off point. I applaud Cain for making the case. Notice everyone is piling on him, but haven’t the juevos to introduce their own plan.
