I’m watching Bachman on Greta I think her outfit last was seen on the cover of the Sgt. Peppers album.

I don’t know how to take her “We raised 28 kids thing”. Was it a great sacrifice or did she view all those kids as tax deductions?

Also don’t like when she refers to her own kids as “5 biologicals”.

Sorry wagglebee. Included you because I had intended to bring up your inclusion to do the same thing as this person, bring up all the kids on the playground.

I actually have a great deal more respect for wagglebee’s position against abortion than I do for those who hate mormonism. Mormon’s, love to have kids, ad infinitim!

haha, you said you hate having to deal with libs like myself.

bwahahaha.

Just another unpopular kid on the playground trying to get attention. lol It’s rather pathetic.

Sorry to say, he had his shot and he blew it!
He’s not very quick witted and his attack on Romney was fairly lame.
I wanted to like the man, he’s made it very difficult! You have to admit it!

Good analysis of the evening. I like Newt it's just too bad he has that baggage.

Mags acknowledged my post of the same (that I am traveling).

We ended up in Rapid City, SD tonight and it was too far to get to Cheyenne so we were able to watch the debate and have a nice early dinner. YAY.

“Cain has swept parking lots and worked his way up at companies. Mitt always started near the top. That will resonate with people, because the experiences are very different.”

Class envy on your part? How conservative of you.

.

On the question of the fence:

Where would you build the fence? On the Mexican side?
(good luck with THAT)
On the Texas side?
Most Texas ranchers are against the fence. It would take away their water rights for their cattle.
In the middle of the river?
Where?

What happens to U.S. land on the south side of the wall? Does it become a de facto part of Mexico?
The University of Texas, Brownsville, discovered recently that plans called for part of its campus to be on the south side of the fence.
Would students need a passport to get to some of their classes?

Officially, the project would cost at least $2.1 billion. But building in remote areas, not to mention legal fights with landowners who don’t want to sell, could send the price soaring.

Well, first you build the fence...then you divert the river to our side of the fence.

I like it. Diabolical.

But Mexico might have something to say about that -- since almost all of the water in the Rio Grande comes out of Mexico.

All of the Colorado and New Mexico water is usually used up by the time the river reaches Fort Hancock, about 80 miles below El Paso. The river is usually dry between Fort Hancock and Presidio.

At Presidio, the Rio Concho flows out of Mexico into the Rio Grande and it becomes a river again. The Concho provides around 80% of the water that eventually reaches the Gulf.

The money spent on mainstream media ads wasn’t able to save democrats from mostly volunteer Tea Party members. Conservative Tea Party Activist are becoming more important than becoming moderate for more funding/media money.

Last I checked, Tea Party activists are tired of career/professional politicians, and Romney and Perry fall into that category, Perry more than Romney. Chalk another one up for Cain.

Indeed. I do think he’s the only one of the bunch who could pull off a format like that.

Newt won tonight, IMO.

Cain, didn’t do so well.

The others all performed as would be expected.

He kept pushing La Raza Rick and blathering about other candidates’ supposed lack of military service.

Or maybe he made anti-Christian comments. Could go either way on that one.

It’s called a JOKE. Grey used to be LDS and knows they do not physically practice polygamy IN THIS LIFE even though they have never repudiated the doctrine.

A VAT tax taxes at every level including the end product. Herman’s tax is applied only to the end product so does not contain hidden taxes.

Don’t be obtuse. It’s obvious that the candidates that are attacking Cain’s 9-9-9 plan are not very familiar with it, or are misrepresenting it in order to make it look like a tax hike.

I’ve crunched the numbers, have you?

BTW, I live in California and pay 9% sales tax and I would still come out ahead, not to mention employers would be unchained from the oppressive taxation they are currently experiencing. Money that could go to R&D and hiring more people.

Well said, Thermonuclear. I’m also tired of cowtowing to that filthy corrupt little socialist hellhole peasant country to our south ...they can’t run a country to save their lives. They constantly push us around and we allow it. Tired of seeing them push of their parasite class on us, while they tell us what we need to do in terms of our policies.

I’m hoping Cain gets tougher on it, still.
