Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner (GYT'-nur) says many Americans will face hard times for a long time to come.

He says President Barack Obama rescued the United States from a second Great Depression and will keep working to strengthen the economy. But Geithner says will be some time before many people feel like the country is recovering.

Geithner tells NBC's "Meet the Press" that it's a very tough economy. He says that for a lot of people "it's going to feel very hard, harder than anything they've experienced in their lifetime now, for a long time to come."

“it’s going to feel very hard, harder than anything they’ve experienced in their lifetime now, for a long time to come.”

Only until the 2012 election and the Jan. 2013 swearing in of a new and Conservative President. Who will gut Obama’s socialist agencies and trash his programs!

In the Soviet Union those people were called Kulaks.

Next little Timmy will gently inform us that we’re all going to eventually die.

Let's hope the nation will some day be able to recover from the damage that has been done by Obama his crew of incompetents. The Democrat and Obama Keynesian economics and socialist spending programs may be irreversible.

It will be over in 2013, if we get this bozo and his supporters out of the WH in 2012.

Seriously, if Obozo goes, the economy will surge. Nobody is investing or building right now because they don’t know what Bambi’s out of control government is going to do to them and their business.

Yeah...

....thats what they all say when they have screwed up the works, and know it.

Geitner et al says that they rescued us from the brink...well they can say that, but nobody can tell where the "brink" was.

I have heard from people like "Mike from East Texas" who I trust to tell the truth about what is going on that if we had let all the banks and car companies just fail and go thru the normal bankruptcy proceedings that the economy would be recovering nicely now.

Geitner and Zer0 can put out all the bullshit they want, but the unemployment is still an official 9.2%, the agencies are gearing up for tighter regs, and they are pushing for higher taxes. That will move us further from the "brink"...yeah, right.

Oh well...elections have consequences...sometimes we get to be "lead" by elected lunatics.....

...maybe, it will make us a stronger country if enough people suffer enough to burn this misery into our brains so it never happens again.

Plotting the curves, it sure seems like a natural recovery has been hampered by this crew.

Those of you looking at this thur partisan eyes are as much a problem as the Marxists.

This problem is as much a child of the “Free Trading” GOP as it is the Marxist Democrats. The free traders put the American middle and working classes in competition with the low labor cost 3rd world. The result was predictable, high unemployment. The Marxists (and compassionate conservatives) spent, year after year, more then the gov took in. The result was predictable, huge debt.

Well Timmy is right, it will be hard times for most of us. No jobs, no money and no Uncle Sugar to help out. Thanks alot Rats, thanks alot GOP.
