President Obama on Sunday called for gun-rights advocates and proponents of gun control to find common ground two months after the shooting which killed six people and wounded 13 others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.).
The Arizona Daily Star published an op-ed by Obama on Sunday calling for stronger restrictions on gun sales to buyers suspected of mental instability.
“A man our Army rejected as unfit for service; a man one of our colleges deemed too unstable for studies; a man apparently bent on violence, was able to walk into a store and buy a gun,” Obama wrote of Jared Loughner, the man accused of shooting Giffords and 19 other people, six fatally.

Here it comes people. I’ve been waiting to see this happen since he was elected. Holder has been putting up trial ballons since the week Obama took office and we know have the POTUS directly addressing the issue.
We need to stop this “reasonable gun control that we can all agree on.”

What a lazy bum; he let this crisis go to waste for over a month now? Is he falling apart without Rahm around to instruct him? What gives? If Zero were on the ball he would have jumped on the gun-gabbing-bandwagon within a news cycle of the shooting.

Maybe we could make a new law and tie it in to the motor-voter laws. You know, at the time of registering to vote, anyone who is mentally deranged (identifiable by registering as a democrat)is too mentally unstable for weapons ownership.
