Just heard this on Shep. (Great intel....) Link to come when I find it.
Yeah, that’s better.
“he ran a horrible campaign and is now a sore loser.”
Like others have said, after what Murkowski did, lying to all about respecting the results of her party’s primary, you’re saying Joe’s a sore loser? Come on!
For argument’s sake let’s say she won. I’m okay with him making them wait this out for weeks. Neither she nor the Republican party were honorable so I see no reason he should conceed and spare them whatever headache he can inflict. As a bonus you never know what he might dig up in the process against the corrupt establishment there.
“One of the decisions Miller complained about on the call involves the decision not to count the votes of people who wrote in the name Joe Miller. Miller says Alaska statute requires those votes to be counted.
Wonder how many of those votes we’re talking about? There were about 10 write-in votes that were counted for Miller - how did that happen - they must have had something written in, but Miller’s oval filled in, methinks.
I wonder if there are hundreds of Miller write-ins part of the contested - not counted pile?
Hmmm...get’s more interesting if Joe’s only down by 1,000, then add in all the other factors we’ve been discussing - now what do you have?
A dead heat contested election, that’s what.
Keep fightin’ Joe!
“Miller strikes me as a man that wouldnt waste his time in a fight unless there was a reason to believe he would win. It is entirely possible that he is working with information that is not available to us.”
Apt insight.
what I meant was Charlie Crist thought he could capture the middle and get the left to join him. That’s why his WH pressure to get Meek the rat to drop out. But Charlie was such a flawed candidate he couldn’t draw the votes.
I suspect Murky wanted to attract the same votes but she got tripped up by AK’s sore loser law and had to go as a write-in.
Al Franken fought it for what, 9 months? Hang tough Joe. Do not allow this fraudulent poser to steal your election. America needs you in the Senate.
It isn’t voter fraud. When one or two letters are misspelled, or if the intent is clear, it isn’t vote fraud to count these. In fact, it would be disenfranchising to not allow these votes to count. The sad thing is that he could have won...and fairly easy at that. He is the type we need in Washington, but he was a flawed candidate.
How would you know whether she won or not, when you don’t even know how many votes were in excess of the number of actual voters?
“Let’s not argue and bicker about who killed who! This is supposed to be a HAPPY occasion!”
That’s what you sound like.
I’ve seen it thrown around here tht Miller ran a bad campaign. I’m a long way from Alaska but what exactly did he do that was so bad?
I mean, did he just not make much effort thinking she didn’t have a chance or what?
OK...you have a good point there. Perhaps, I am being unfair to Miller, but he had this election. What costly mistakes, so I am taking my frustration out on him.
What they know is 1)Murkowski write in votes were given special consideration where “voter intent” was determined instead of following the law,
2)All the other votes were machine counted and were NOT screened for “voter intent”
3)Murkowski is NOT 10,000 votes ahead as reported. Miller is AHEAD in uncontested votes.
4) Some precincts are reporting 100% turnout, districts that went heavily for Murkowski.
5) Ballots were turned pre-sorted because someone had already gone through them in violation of the law
And I am sure there is much more.
Thanks...$$$ sent.
We need to keep Alaska from the leeches.
Thanks for that link. Those are stunning numbers. If the machines failed to tally those percentages of votes this may end up not even being close if Miller can get a hand count for all the votes and not just the write-ins. Seems like a clear-cut equal protection and due process kind of a deal. Unless the machines determine “voter intent” there is a clearly different standard used for the 2 candidates.
Miller did NOT run a bad campaign, his ads were honest from the heart messages, he never once acted like the democratic party that loves to blame others.
He refused to fall into their media games and snares, and I won’t say its trolls here at FR that think Joe ran a bad campaign, instead I think its people that allowed themselves to believe the MSM propaganda that was aimed at him.
This is quite big, all the guns and infantry that was aimed at Sarah Palin was redirected to blow Joe Miller off the field. This is just the same as when they targeted Sarah Palin.
For those that don’t know I live just north of Wasilla, there are others here at FR that live in Alaska, not a whole lot though.
It was called the Alaska mafia that enabled Lisa to get all the votes, well I can believe it, in this state its all about favoritism.
This is our time when we must reach down inside and find our inner beliefs, not what we are bombarded with on the MSM and the internet.
Thanks. Hate to say, but people on Free Republic, who should know better, still fall into the snare of believing the popular story, usually originating in the main stream media.
Are you even trying to be objective?
Transparent ballot boxes have been used in various locations. I would be curious to find find out if they were used in Alaska.
Thank you for sharing your insights as one who lives there in Alaska and knows the ropes. We have helped fund Joe Miller, although we live in Kalifornia. NO reason to spend our money here!!
“He better have a real good line on pulling this out or he’s gonna be soreloserman II.”
He has to fight no matter what. He just has to do it in a respectful, clean cut way (no baseball bats and mafia references!)
I’m tired of all these wimpy Lindsay Grahams who want to sing kumbaya and hope we will all get along and play kissy kissy with everyone.
