Forget the myth of an Obama recovery. The past week has been disastrous for the White House and America’s increasingly disillusioned Left. No wonder the angry and desperate Vice President Joe Biden is talking about “playing hell” if his party suffers defeat in November.
Here are five reasons why the Obama presidency’s outlook is getting significantly worse, not better:
1. A new Gallup poll suggests the November mid-terms could result in the biggest victory for Republicans in the House since 1894
Gallup’s latest poll is absolutely devastating in its analysis of the Democrats’ prospects for November 2, projecting a 13 point lead for the Republicans based on higher overall turnout, and a staggering 18 point lead if turnout is low. In Gallup’s view:
If there is a widely disproportionate skew in turnout toward Republican voters and their national vote lead ends up being in the double digits, the Republican gains would be very substantial.
As leading election analyst Michael Barone noted, the Gallup numbers “suggest it looks like 1894, when Republicans gained more than 100 seats in a House of approximately 350 seats.” If the Gallup poll proves accurate, we could be looking at a GOP victory in the House of Representatives of absolutely historic proportions, a scenario frightening enough to give even the most seasoned Obama White House adviser nightmares.
2. The Senate now hangs in the balance
Rasmussen’s latest projection has both the Democrats and Republicans with 48 seats in the Senate, with Florida moving into the solid GOP camp, and West Virginia moving from toss up to leans GOP. Four states (all Democrat) are now in the toss-up category: California, Illinois, Nevada and Washington...

Let him crack up. Give him a medical discharge! But, one way or another, it's time to end the experiment brought on by the piss-steam media and the Bush derangement crowd.
I just hope we’re not counting chickens before they’re hatched with all this speculation.
I expect Obama to go into HItler/Bunker mode soon.
I suspect turnout will be low for a reason I haven't seen written about yet (I'm sure I just missed it)--because people THINK they want to live in a socialist paradise as long as it's JUST a Utopian fantasy.
When the reality hit, they realized it was so much easier to be able to bitch and whine when what you're bitching and whining about ISN'T the reality you have to live in.
For all their complaints about "Tea Baggers" and "Bush lied," they really don't care for the actual living reality of a socialist-turning nation. So these voters--not ALL libs, jsut this bloc I'm talking about--will not vote this time around. Then when the Republicans are back in control they can return to their comfortable norm--bitching and whining about evil capitalists controlling the world and keeping us all from living in a socialist Utopia.

And plan to keep working after November (but hey, we CAN take a FEW DAYS off, say Nov 3-6).
No no no, eyes have to be watching 24/7 for many days after the polls to minimize the appearance of “instant voting machines” and the like.
When the history of this pathetic left wing admin and congress is written I predict that the pinnacle of their power, the moment of utmost Leftist glee will be Nancy Pelosi carrying that huge gavel through the Tea Party crowd cackling all the way knowing that they went against the will of the people but it didn’t matter because they had the power and they used the power to rule with an iron fist, and they absolutely loved every minute. The Devil came through with his promise and delivered for Nancy and gang.
Only thing is, now he wants their souls in return and now they are starting to realize the bad deal they made......the wailing and gnashing of teeth has already begun and will rise to a blood curdling caucophony on November 3.
I guess Barry’s charm offensive strategy of popping up in the backyards of complacent zombie-like white suburbanites to give them a ponderous talking points briefing is not working. I’ve seen at least three of these Barry infomercials in the past month.
He's already scheduled a 12 day trip to India, immediately after the election.
Except that, so far, the Constitution does not provide for going to hell. Ignominy is the closest thing possible on this mortal coil.
Let’s hope Barry starts going insane on TV in time to more heavily influence conservative turn-out and Democrat disillusion on the West Coast when the polls close in the Eastern time zone and exit polls show the Democrats to have been thoroughly shellacked. I predict that the one thing he is almost certain to do the next day is to go golfing and then take an extended vacation at Camp David for more golf.
