I googled “Today.” Got 1,450,000,000 results in .29 seconds. Pretty cool.

At least they aren't sticking up a huge background picture today. I saw that yesterday the second most popular search was something like "delete google background".
On of Google's primary advantages is a clear, quick user interface. As they add in more pictures, more fading in and out elements, and just more crap in general they are becoming less useful.
