Months ago, I predicted in this column that President Obama would so discredit himself in office that he wouldn't even be on the ballot in 2012, let alone have a prayer of being reelected. Like President Johnson in 1968, who had won a much bigger victory four years previously than Obama did in 2008, President Obama will be so politically defunct by 2012 that he won't even try to run for reelection.
I am now ready to predict that President Obama will not even make it that far. I predict that he will resign in discredited disgrace before the fall of 2012. Like my previous prediction, that is based not just on where we are now, but where we are going under his misleadership.
Is the President Above the Law?
Watergate was supposed to have established that Presidents are not above the law. If that is so, President Obama may have to resign for breaking the law in the Sestak affair.

I watched a bit of it and it struck me that this administration was trying VERY hard to make VP-Biden appear exceptionally presidential.
I presume that some of the people predicting the resignation of BHO may be onto something... elsewise, why'd they push Joe into the forefront in Arlington?
Obama doesn't have it in him.
The Sestak thing is not nearly enough to warrant impeachment in 2010.
AG Holder will investigate, give the all-clear.
Unless the 2010 election can take control of both chambers from the Dems ... but don’t bet the farm on that happening. Dems certainly are not going to go after their own sitting prez.
I never thought Clinton would win re-election, especially after his disasterous first term, but he did. It is too early to count Obama out, even with his current demonstrated level of incompetence.
DumBO is resigned to burn the Constitution.
Resign? Laughable.
Ain't gonna happen....
I agree, and after he’s forced to leave office we’ll have the worst of Carter’s anti-American meddling and Clinton’s look-at-me narcissism wrapped up in the youngest and most annoying former president to ever clog our media airwaves.
At least Plugs is an American and he did show up at Arlington and do the job the -resident wouldn’t do.
I do agree that Obambi will be in no position to run for reelection in 2012. He will opt to spend more time with his family and earn big bucks on the lecture circuit.

This is a pipe dream. obama will never resign. He wouldn’t admit defeat on healthcare even though 60% of the American people were opposed. He knew better. He will ALWAYS know better and what the people want, think, say will mean nothing.
Say what you want about Nixon but he resigned because he still had some integrity, honor and decency ( all traits completey lacking in obama) and he didn’t want to see the country dragged through the speectacle of an impeachment and a Senate trial. He bowed out gracefully. That’s something that democrats starting with bill clinton seem to be completely unable to do!
It will be more entertaining to strip the majority from the dims..vote out the rinos and put fresh faces from the TP on the Hill...then watch as Obozos head implodes as he rants on and on to a public that has deserted his sorry @ss. yeah sweet.
You would have to have a sense of reality. Obama does not live in reality.
If Obama would nuke this country before he would resign.
Nixon for all of his faults, was George Washington in comparison to Obama.
And that isn’t hyperbole.
Obama has a god-sized ego - he will NEVER voluntarily give up power.
The only way to get him out of office is to vote his sorry ass out (which will happen.)
You know, you’re on to something there. Only thing is I don’t think he’ll actually walk away. He’ll remain in office, but just stop working/trying.
Sort of like Steve Spurrier did halfway through his second season coaching the Redskins.
I used to love Rush but when he was nearly arrogant and said GWB was going to beat Gore in a landslide, and then the 36 day nightmare in Florida happened, I lost a lot of faith in his predictions. I still listen but its amazing how many times he gets it wrong. I remember him saying early on that Obama didn’t have a prayer in the primaries. I knew he was wrong.
Like Sec Gen of the UN, then world leader.
