A trial attorney with the Department of Justices Voting Rights Section has resigned, citing concerns about the governments refusal to prosecute a case involving voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party.
A letter of resignation from a former Justice Department employee makes clear DOJ has refused to allow attorneys in the Voting Rights Section to testify before the congressionally-chartered bipartisan U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, despite subpoenas that could result in their being held in contempt.

Ditto that. Can’t wait to learn more ...
Of course this will be the leading story on all the media networks. /s
I certainly wouldn’t have heard about it if my girlfriend wasn’t from Philly.
When she told me about it, I think my response was something like, “I’d love to see them try that here in the South.” I cannot believe this sort of thing is tolerated anywhere in the country.
DOJ issued a ruling in this case. As a result, the club-weilding Black Panther thug cannot carry a weapon at a polling place... until 2012!
No, I'm not kidding. You cannot make this stuff up.
Eric Holder is a coward on racial issues.
Well, Bravo!!! A hero or heroine, formerly in the DOJ.
Wow, a lawyer with balls... and morals.
Last night, even BOR said that Holder needs to go.
It is scary when BOR and Freepers agree.
exactly what I was thinking...
Malik Zulu Shabazz, chairman of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense (NBPP):
"We believe in a Black first philosophy and a Black Liberation Theology."

"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal".--James (Jim) Cone,
African American Religious Thought: An Anthology (Paperback)
by Cornel West (Editor), Eddie S. Glaude Jr. (Editor)
SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?
Oh yeah this is the case when the Black version of the KKK was ouside of that Philly polling place shouting “your about to know what its like to be ruled by the Black man Cracker” and waving a night stick around scaring all the white people away from voting.
No wonder the case was dropped this is typical liberals for you. Eric Holder shold resign in shame the man is a disgrace to the country.
Eric Holder, Obama, Wright, Ayers, the New Black Panther Party, many others around him, are all of the same political ilk.
Although it [The New Black Panther Party] says it sees capitalism as the fundamental problem with the world and revolution as the solution, the new party does not draw its influences from Marxism or Maoism as the original party did. Instead, in a carefully-worded, roundabout form of ethnic nationalism,[8] they say that Marx based his ideology and teachings on indigenous African cultures, and that the NBPP therefore need not look to Marxism or Maoism as a basis for their program, but can look to ideologies that stem directly from those African origins.
