A trial attorney with the Department of Justices Voting Rights Section has resigned, citing concerns about the governments refusal to prosecute a case involving voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party.
A letter of resignation from a former Justice Department employee makes clear DOJ has refused to allow attorneys in the Voting Rights Section to testify before the congressionally-chartered bipartisan U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, despite subpoenas that could result in their being held in contempt.

You can add this to the list of the many Congressional hearings that will take place after the GOP takes back the House this fall. I'm interested in getting to the bottom of this, as well as the Gerald Walpin firing.

It's good to see individuals in the public sector that are passionate about their work. It's a shame to see him quit over this, though it's entirely understandable. His position, as of now, is going to be filled by some rabid moonbat with a ‘Bush’ underneath their beds, hiding in their closets, and causing global warming.

This should be a major story in the MSM but we all know it won’t be. It’s downright scary that we have a DOJ that won’t pursue this case. Unbelievable. But I bet 90% of the general population doesn’t know a thing about this case.

I’m wondering who this attorney is and will they be able to come forward? They may have some rules which prevent them from commenting on this case. If not then this attorney should come forward and present the issues for the public. They should make the talk show circuit. They owe the public an accounting. That’s what they are paid for.

just imagine the UPROAR in the Mediascum if any analogous thuggery were being covered up by a R. admin.

This only confirms the criminality of Obama and Holder. Obstructing justice by the U. S. Justice Department seems to me like an indictable offence.
As pointed out by a previous poster, nothing will happen on this until the Democrats loose their control of government. It is too bad, but when Republicans regain control they will have to watched to make sure that they don’t just let this go. Unfortunately they can’t be trusted either.

I’d fall over if this story was ever even hinted at, let alone reported on, by the DBM.

A trial attorney with the Department of Justices Voting Rights Section has resigned, citing concerns about the governments refusal to prosecute a case involving voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party. When I saw the headline, I thought I was going to read about a resignation that had been *requested*, you know, someone on the shady side of things got caught (since this whole Black Panther no prosecute is such a sham) -- I am heartened to read that it is just the opposite. Hopefully this is not the last we hear from this attorney.
