Rescuers scoured the Gulf for the unaccounted workers late Wednesday as firefighters struggled to quench a towering fire that forced all aboard to flee.

Prayers for the victims and their families.
Didn’t this happen last year right before the summer spike?
Prayers for the people involved in this.
It’s a lock.
God help the lost crew.Dangerous business and the timing is bad for this with the Rats in control.
My prayers are for the vicitms and their families.
BUT EVEN NOW, I can hear the rush of speculators running to take advantage of a bad situation by things even worse for the American energy conmsumer.
And you can be sure the Obamameister in the Oval Office will be spinning this to HIS own advantage.
Drilling increases during the spring because days are longer and demand will increase shortly.
Don’t know about the accident, but activity increases seasonally.
I agree. But he doesn’t need an oil platform fire to do that. He’s been doing it all along and in the coal world too, but offers no alternatives.
Have I missed something? What American coastal areas are "booming" with new drilling?
Seems to me Obama's oil speech was heavy on "exploration", short on actual expanded drilling permissions.

Oil is down to $82 a barrel now, financial worries, and Greece is back in the news so all commodities along with stocks are tanking. We are headed in the same direction as Greece unless we reverse the stuff this crew is doing to us in the WH and Congress.
Deep water means natgas. Blow-out speculation?
We don’t want a recovery until the Obama Monster is either OUT of the White House or de-fanged by A GOP controlled Congress.
Dang. Watch gas jump 10 cents a gallon over the weekend.
They were running the 12 casing over the reservoir and displaced to test the packer. It came back on them. It was a blow out. The BOP is open and they will come back in with ROV’s and try to shut the BOP today. Then it wont be able to flow.
Which begs the question, WAS it an accident?
And neither wee had terrorist connections. /s The tail wagging the dog again?
True. But I think that recovery and Obama are like oil and vinegar.
Sure he will; though guess with 'vat talk' and Goldman-Sachs, TOTUS is full right now.
Any news on 'how' this happened?
