WASHINGTON — President Obama said Monday that he was revamping American nuclear strategy to substantially narrow the conditions under which the United States would use nuclear weapons, even in self defense.
But the president said in an interview that he was carving out an exception for “outliers like Iran and North Korea” that have violated or renounced the main treaty to halt nuclear proliferation.
Discussing his approach to nuclear security the day before formally releasing his new strategy, Mr. Obama described his policy as part of a broader effort to edge the world toward making nuclear weapons obsolete, and to create incentives for countries to give up any nuclear ambitions. To set an example, the new strategy renounces the development of any new nuclear weapons, overruling the initial position of his own defense secretary.
Mr. Obama’s strategy is a sharp shift from those adopted by his predecessors and seeks to revamp the nation’s nuclear posture for a new age in which rogue states and terrorist organizations are greater threats than traditional powers like Russia and China.
It eliminates much of the ambiguity that has deliberately existed in American nuclear policy since the opening days of the Cold War. For the first time, the United States is explicitly committing not to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states that are in compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, even if they attacked the United States with biological or chemical weapons, or launched a crippling cyberattack.
Those threats, he argued, could be deterred with “a series of graded options” -- a combination of old and newly designed conventional weapons.
“I’m going to preserve all the tools that are necessary in order to make sure that the American people are safe and secure,” Mr. Obama said during the interview in the Oval Office.

Still not sold on Obama being THE anti-Christ. However, I agree with you that he is AN anti-Christ. Definitely a perfect object lesson in how easy it will be for THE Anti-Christ to deceive the people of this world into thinking he IS their savior/God.
What I do agree with you with though is that Obama is a Fascist Tyrant (I had thought Communist as well, but in discussions here, and in doing more research I believe he is more fascist than anything else... In fact, “Obamanism” might be something that we need to define in itself because he is definitely combining a bunch of different “isms” in his ruling “style”).
As far as NOT praying for him??? I wouldn’t suggest that at all! We are told to pray for our enemies — that their hearts may be turned away from evil and towards God. Granted, looking through Psalms it is clear that David did NOT pray for the “well-being” of his enemies, but rather that God would cause their snares to capture THEM and not the innocent, etc... Maybe I’m misunderstanding your intent in what you said, but it’s just SO CLOSE to praying for the opposite I think one should be very cautious as to what is in their hearts when praying ABOUT Obama and the direction of our country. [I’m just feeling an urge right now to warn you away from that line of thinking as a fellow Christian, please accept my apologies if I am misinterpreting your meaning...]
Seriously, this is getting to be a very dire situation. We're rapidly approaching the point where the only remaining remedy is the one envisioned by Thomas Jefferson. I know that it is hard to envision such a scenario, but Obama is putting us in a position where our very existence is threatened. This cannot be allowed.

I don’t understand this. Is this not what we are commanded by God to do? To pray for our enemies that their hearts may be turned from evil and toward God (good?)? I think you’re treading in some dangerous waters there, my fellow Christian and FRiend. If anything I think going through Psalms and taking a page from David regarding how to pray regarding our enemies would be a good idea.
Please take this in the spirit it is meant — obviously, do what you feel is right — I just have a strong urging to warn my brothers and sisters in Christ that no matter WHAT Obama does, we need to guard our hearts (and our souls) against praying for his demise... even if we don’t say the WORDS, God knows our hearts and if that thought is in there He’s hearing it!]
Obama’s announcing his intentions makes a future nuclear attack more likely. The left wired brain can’t see the forest for the trees.

Thanks for clarifying that information. One thing is certain though...if we manage to survive Obama’s term, this country will not be electing another democrat President for decades. Nor will they be electing a democrat controlled congress. These people have proven themselves as unfit for ‘duty’!
