I don’t understand this. Is this not what we are commanded by God to do? To pray for our enemies that their hearts may be turned from evil and toward God (good?)? I think you’re treading in some dangerous waters there, my fellow Christian and FRiend. If anything I think going through Psalms and taking a page from David regarding how to pray regarding our enemies would be a good idea.

Please take this in the spirit it is meant — obviously, do what you feel is right — I just have a strong urging to warn my brothers and sisters in Christ that no matter WHAT Obama does, we need to guard our hearts (and our souls) against praying for his demise... even if we don’t say the WORDS, God knows our hearts and if that thought is in there He’s hearing it!]

No, no. It would be very wrong to pray for Obama’s demise. That certainly was not what I said. I said that I prayed for my country. That God will safeguard our country, its people, and especially its children and its future.

If that involves Obama’s conversion, fine. With God, all things are possible. But He does not FORCE conversions on anyone, and I am extremely doubtful whether Obama will convert from his evil ways. No one but God can know that for certain, but it certainly would appear that Obama is fixed in his evil ways, and has chosen to follow the path of destruction to America. I pray that God will do what is best.
