Seriously, I fully understand the significance of the assault on our liberties and freedoms we've just witnessed.
But for the love of God, take your two seconds and get it out of your system and get ready to take back the country. It's our own damn fault we let this happen so now what are we going to do? Sit and cry like these bozos own us? They only own you if you let them.
I'll say this-I don't know what all the answers are but I know it will take an incredible effort and some very brave and smart people to rebuild this thing. You have a choice-lay on the ground and get walked on by these cretins or get up off your butt and start fighting back. It starts now. I'm 34 years old and I'm not taking this laying down-I've got too much pride in my country and self to let a two-bit crackhead like Obama run my life. I also know that the old saying "United we stand, divided we fall," is going to be critical moving forward. I watched some people up in Washington that should inspire all of us-Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Mark Levin, Michelle Bachmann. What great great people and true leaders. We have some great leaders to build around that's for sure. I couldn't be prouder of the true Patriots that have fought and will continue to fight for us.
Molon Labe.
Elections in Nov are not the only options. They are just one.
RON!
I have done everything in my power to try and save my state from the socialist onslaught!
I live in Tom McClintock’s district 5 and have done all I can do to help!
The socialists here have destroyed my retirement, my savings and my young sons(2) futures, not to mention my grandbabies future also.
2 short years ago the house next to mine was sold for $350,000, mine is now valued at $134,000 which puts me $58,000 underwater!
What would you ol’ wise one propose I do?
I fought like a rat terrier to stop what has happened...
Disagree all you want. They will NEVER change their minds. Are you from Michigan, do you know them? Didn't think so. That's like saying if you flood Nancy Pelosi's mail box she will change her mind.
Bit naive there.
Oh yes, their mailboxes will be full come Monday morning!
That'll teach 'em.
No defeatist attitude here - The time for a political solution has ended.
Maybe when our standard of living is that of Cambodia and the government controls every single industry in the country, they'll finally figure it out.
I agree with the original poster. Too many Marshal Petains around here.
Just go back to France if you’re going to be defeatist.
Time to make sure people don’t forget and give them guidelines to punish the right people by voting against every Democrat, regardless of how an individual voted on this
If they’re a Democrat, they’re part of the majority that got Pelosi and Reid in office. And as part of that majority, they’re part of the problem.

There are a lot of options in a political strategy. Fund raising is a good way to contribute to the effort. Continue to make phone calls and write letters to elected officials. Attend town halls. There is much that can be done in local government. But all these efforts should be coordinated to help elect the right people to office in November.
Bit naive there.
Drop the attitude. I live in NY. You know. SCHUMER? PROGRESSIVE JOHN HALL? I was not suggesting that we can change their minds. I was suggesting that the consequences of their actions be UNPLEASANT.
Already posted. :p
This is not just a reply to stirpes, but to the whole thread:
I heard Rove speak on Saturday, and his theme was this: Take personal responsibility for what’s going on right now. Move past the modus operandi of the past, were we just watch TV, and get pissed, etc. Go out and become truly active in a campaign.
Do what you can.
Do what you need to do.
If you need to change your life to do it, then change your life to do it.
Take personal responsibility for what’s happening.
Same boat here in MA until this past January.
I could (did) call/email/fax Kennedy and Kerry/US Rep. 24 hours a day - would they ever change their minds? God no.
I feel your pain.
Again, focusing just on the Nov elections will do nothing now. There needs to be other actions too. Legal challenges etc.
Well spoken advice that I hope many listen to.
Blutarski, I didn’t know you were a Freeper...
“Was it over when the German’s bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!”
Yeah, sorry. Really pi$$ed right now, shouldn't take it out on you. I'm really frustrated, they have done everything they have wanted to do (the Obama adminstration) and we are sitting here spinning our wheels.
I was suggesting that the consequences of their actions be UNPLEASANT.
In Michigan? Carl Levin has been in the Senate my entire life. He will suffer no consequences and he knows it. Every libbie in this state gets reelected no matter what they do ... see Kwami Kilpatrick.
All else has failed.
That’s fine except your combination of words could get you a knock at the door.
yeah, but at least you had satisfaction after Teddy went swimming in the Styx. I get none and MI is pathetic, demmies get there way on every issue.
Thousand Oaks, I lived on Hillcrest Drive, Camino De Los Flores and Calle Cabraco back in the early 70's, went to Waverly Jr high and also Newbury Park HS before we moved back to the Valley, I moved A LOT as a kid....Tom Mc Clintock is da man in my book and should have been the Govoner.
What would you ol wise one propose I do?
I don't have the answers and I know tempers are running high tonight, but I also know we have a much bigger fight ahead of us then what we just went through and we need to band together...maybe tomorrow will be a better day??
