Romney now biggest threat to Obama head to head

These are just a few examples from the last two days.
You'll also notice the (once again) packed straw poll at CPAC, and a sudden surge in Freepers attacking Sarah Palin at every turn.
It seems the push is already at full force. Mitt Romney is the guy to beat, like it or not (remember that McCain enjoyed -5% support at FR during the campaign), and the GOP is circling the wagons early this time.
Add to that several weekend columns out-of-nowhere attacking Sarah Palin again (George Will, Dorothy Rabinowitz, Kathleen Parker, et al).
let there be no doubt, the organized effort is afoot.
Coulter was there in 2008, kissing Romney's butt. Nothings changed.
Boy aren’t you clever-—Snob and no doubt elitist as well.
FYI-—I do use iespell most of the time but some times I for get sue me.
I will not vote for Willard
under any circunstances
My question is does Palin want Palin as President???? She is still evasive and not announced she will run...she needs to do so at the right time but Romney gathering strength and the MSM attention is hardly comfortable...I will not vote for him...and yes his Mormanism plays as big as part as him being a full fledged Rino...and in this administrations back pocket...nope notto...
Are you suggesting voter fraud?
She could do it in the middle of Romney’s book signing, but that might look a little snarky. She should wait a week after his book signing and erase his book boost.
Sue is no doubt pleased you didn't get her.
Who can understand this illiterate trash?
Yeah, it’s standard operating procedure for the party boy insiders to pick their candidate early, line up the big money people, and then sell the candidate as inevitable. They can’t dispense with the primaries, of course, but try to preempt it as much as possible. Dole, Bush, McCain, now Romney.
But I think conservatives may finally be on to this.
Peoples overreaction to the McCain endorsement is emotionally driven and not well thought out. If pull there heads out of their collective naval, they will be able to see that Sarah did what she had to do. End of story.
Now I am just going to LOL at you because well you are boorish, nasty and no doubt short where it counts. There used iespell this time.
The GOP foists this gun hating, big government RINO off on us and they are FINISHED. I will devote my every waking breath to the GOP's destruction if they saddle us with yet another McCain/Dole milquetoast!
I swear this in the name of every Deity in Bulfinch's catalog...
“Right now my focus is on November 2010 and defeating McCain.”
I agree in that the 2010 elections should be the focus. Also defeat the healthcare bill the dimoKKKRATS are trying to force down out throats. To early to be wasting energy on 2012.
She's all but said she will run if she thinks she can beat that marxist in the WH. I don't know how much clearer she can be at this point in time.
Her exact words to Chris Wallace were that she would run "if it's good for the country and her family".
It's pretty clear to me that she wants to run if she thinks she can win. Otherwise, she'll stay out. She's not into lost causes. That's for losers like Romney.
If this is true, then they have learned nothing the last 2 years.
I would just add if anybody think O will have the base of support he had last time is dreaming. Sarah can and will kick his butt. Sarah wants O as her crowning political trophy.
I agree but there is still a scenario where Obama could beat any Republican...if the economy has some sort of recovery and there is no major terrorist attack. In that scenario, she would back off. JMO.
That may be true but the landscape has changed so much in the last year in away nobody could have predicted. One last thing as Sarah has stated O has a record now. I sure would want to defend that record would you I think not.
When you get beyond elementary school and no longer need such things, I'd like to hear from you.
Until then.. sit down, junior. You're embarrassing yourself.
I like Palin but she isn’t Reagan and I doubt if she can win. The press is going to say Obama was inexperienced but has grown and we can’t afford another inexperienced president. We forget Reagan had an unbelievable resume. An actor, a public speaking stint with GE, a union president used to negotating, a two term Gov of the largest state and had ran for president before. Romney’s dad was destroyed by the press and is much more experienced in dealing with them. I think he has the best team in putting together a one versus one campaign. You didn’t see his team backbiting like McCains. Romney doesn’t have the stong convictions like Palin or Reagan but that would be viewed positively by the independants after the partisan Obama. Like Bush, his judges would be much better than Obama. The problem is he is not going to stop the continued socialization of the country but just slow it down. I will vote for him as president but will probably vote for Palin in the primary even though I think she will lose and I know she is nowhere as skilled as Reagan. I worry we are being caught up in the celebrity culture in voting for her. I wish we had someone with more experience and convictions.
What is your malfunction oh wait don’t tell me YOU’RE one of those “Rubber Room” types.
