These are just a few examples from the last two days.
You'll also notice the (once again) packed straw poll at CPAC, and a sudden surge in Freepers attacking Sarah Palin at every turn.
It seems the push is already at full force. Mitt Romney is the guy to beat, like it or not (remember that McCain enjoyed -5% support at FR during the campaign), and the GOP is circling the wagons early this time.
Add to that several weekend columns out-of-nowhere attacking Sarah Palin again (George Will, Dorothy Rabinowitz, Kathleen Parker, et al).
let there be no doubt, the organized effort is afoot.
The Republican Party has devolved into a caricature of ancient European Royalty or Kennedys-in-Massachusetts. The heir apparent is the rightful ruler and will be crowned notwithstanding that the heir may have an IQ of 75 and drools.
It makes a lot of sense McCain initiated Sarah Palin’s National Career. We would not even be discussing her if it was not for McCain. Sarah Palin’s endorsement was nothing more than a thank you to McCain and Arizona voters will be the ones to decide if which is the most suitable man in the Arizona primary. If Sarah got elected as President there would still be some anti-Palin people beating this drum. Enough is enough with the McCain endorsement crap. At least the anti-Palin people should try coming up with a more substantive reason to attack Palin.

I don’t know if Huck will run, but if he had any savvy he would sit this one out and throw hit support behind Sarah Palin. Of course his evil plan would be to hope that Sarah would lose to Romney, and that Romney would lose to Obama. The idea would be that Huck could come back in 2016 and claim that it is his turn this time, and that he did all he could do to get a Republican elected in 2012. The problem with Huck is that he always wants instant gratification, so he probably will not employ this strategy.
If you do like it don’t read my posts. what are you the spelling and grammer police. Can you see this I will turn it up for you. Think about it.

I wasn’t going to be rude and point this out, but why do you do this...glass houses and all that. What is the point? Obviously you have been here a long time. Does that give you carte blanche to insult people at will?

And that is exactly the tactic the Romney supporters used last election. "Mitt is the only one who can beat Rudy--so if you're not for Mitt, Giuliani appreciates your support!"

If we are going to make a difference in the upcoming election, we need to KNOW the candidates. Please post the names of ALL your Congressional candidates on this thread along with any and all information available. We need names, positions, platforms, news articles, statements, pictures. We need to separate the RINOS from the Conservatives, and most of all, we need to get the liberals of either party OUT!
So.. you are saying we should be aware of the candidates and vote the bad ones out.

Sarah Palin has made some political moves that were emotionaly driven rather than politically well thought out. Supporting McCain in AZ, for example.
I wonder how much money Obama is donating to the Romney campaign.
