Global Warming: Russian analysts accuse Britain's Meteorological Office of cherry-picking Russian temperature data to "hide the decline" in global temperatures. Is Copenhagen rooted in a single tree in Siberia?
Michael Mann, a Penn State meteorologist, wrote in Friday's Washington Post that "stolen" e-mails from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit still don't alter the evidence for climate change.
Mann, a creator of the discredited hockey-stick graph used in reports from the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to show man-made warming, attacks climate skeptics, including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, saying they "confuse the public."
Chutzpah has been redefined.
As Ronald Reagan used to say, facts are stubborn things. The fact is that imminent man-made climate disaster has been shown to be a massive fraud driven by manipulated data and deliberate suppression of facts to the contrary.
The latest Climate-gate shoe to drop is the Moscow-based Institute of Economic Analysis (IEA) accusation that the Hadley Center of Britain's Meteorological Office deliberately relied on a carefully selected 25% of Russia's weather stations that fit its theory of global warming.

These “scientists” have to be dumb as rocks to think this wasn’t going to get out sooner or later.
Hockey mom trumps hockey stick.
Good article. Succinct. Sent to all my lib friends. Yeah,,, I’ve got a lot of lib friends. I’m a musician. Even when I was a Hippy, I was Right-Wing! Stood out like a sore thumb!
They were planning on later, much later, after Congress has shoved cap and trade out down our throats.
Even the Russians even have it wrong. They claim all of the data should have been used. However, the urban data should have been what was thrown out.
I dunno. They'd been at it for a long time, and but for the inside job might have gotten away with it. At least until the point where it no longer mattered.
Absolutely no reductions by Russia and emerging nations. Huge credits for themselves they don't need and can sell. A guaranteed 100 billion penalty on the US economy.
The next step is to prevent cutbacks in their customer's (Europe) use and purchase of Russian oil and gas. They will probably accomplish this, as the "agreement" only binds the US, and Zer0 will ensure enforcement.
When the AGW collapse comes, Russia, China, and India will be sitting pretty and we will have to rebuild from the position of most indebted nation in the history of the world.
When it comes to politics and economics, scientists usually are dumb as rocks, and therefore believe that everyone else is too.
That all works in our favor. They will continue to make mistakes and reveal their true agenda.
The evil smart aleck is right.....
....nothing has changed
.....The evidence was wrong and fraudulent before
.....AND it still IS wrong and fraudulent.
Definitely ancient East verses West conflict. Thanks to the Shiite Persians, we will have the Sunni Arabs watching our backs in Baghdad. What could possibly go wrong ? Funny how our economic collapse is going to coincide with Iran going nuclear. What are the chances of the most powerful Western nation in history fiscally collapsing at the same time as the ancient Eastern Persian Empire acquires mankind's most devastating weapons ?
Here is the curious thing about Russia and weather data collection. I read this several years ago. The Russians had a tremendous network of weather collectors out there....literally thousands of them. They kept fine and very dedicated records for the past eighty-odd years....and even going back into the Czar era...they had a decent collection mechanism. When the Soviet Union started to fall apart in the 1990s...this massive number of sites started to decrease.
But they had all this raw data....from vast rural areas of Russia....dating back to the 1930s. So you would think this would be a tremendous thing to treasure and hold onto...because if global warming is really happening...those sites would show examples. And the neat thing is that they were mostly unaffected by air conditioning, asphalt roads, and massive concrete buildings (the failures of the American weather collection system).
The global warming crowd really doesn’t like to mess with this Russian database. It apparently has flaws in showing global warming taking place. Which would beg a question or two...shouldn’t they all count?
I always thought Algore was the most influential tree in the world.
The interest rate remains low if there is a successful bidding and sale of these bonds.
Currently, the largest purchaser, by far, is China. They pay cash on the barrelhead.
If, for any reason, there is an unsuccessful sale, the lender of last resort, the Federal Reserve, will buy the bonds. It is done with the click of a mouse, but what effectively happens is fiat paper money is printed and put in circulation.
This act immediately begins serious inflation AND next week's bonds must carry significantly higher interest for any chance of a successful sale.
Should the Chinese decide to pass on a bond purchase, it is unlikely that any other nation or group of nations would risk taking up the slack.
Effectively, the Chinese have the power to decide if and when we go into hyper inflation and economic collapse.
Interestingly, the Chinese are no longer irresponsible utopian socialists. A significant (but falling) portion of their economy hinges on sale of Chinese manufactured goods in the US. They do not want to lose that business, but they also will not be stuck with bad debt.
Tree Ring Circus? Love it. Quoting you in profile. FRegards ....
True, China was never going to give an inch.
They will always reserve the right to produce and consume as much energy as necessary to advance the Chinese economy according to their wishes.
This will never change. The Chinese own the US through Treasury debt, and all Zer0's interactions with the Chinese consist of him crawling in on his knees and begging the Chinese to continue buying US debt, nothing else.
The Chinese own Zer0 and they own the outcome of any UN climate conference now and in the future.
